Did you know you also have effects pads? Its accessed by shift and hit the roll button and you can access a library of diferent effects at the touch of a pad. I have the Mixstream Pro Plus but lost my effects by accidentlly deleting the main file! I'll be using my effects screen tomorrow night instead...

Do you mean the onboard “Sampler”? You can trigger samples this way I think.. didn’t know you can trigger effects like echo or reverb with the pads 😄

@@davidmahner Yes, on the pads. There's a whole library of effects like drums and sounds. I'm not up to speed yet as I deleted the samples folder and can't use mine. But there is a tutorial video out there for the Pro Go specifically. I'l try find it for you later today..It came about as I posted in the Global DJ forum asking about an effects pad to liven my Tech House sets and someone sent me the link. Who Knew!! Lol.

Should be the “Touch Effects” and there’s a symbol for it you need to press on top of the screen to get to that ;)

Thank you so much bro! Audio is recorded directly on the mixtream pro and the video is recorded separately with the iPhone. And then I put it together in iMovie ;)

@@davidmahner oh cool. I’m gonna have to try that. I’m new to the space and want to know which gear to invest in. I have considered the mix-stream pro in the last week. But I’m a bit biased towards the Reloop Mixon 8 pro, because I use the Djay Pro Ai on both the iPad and the Mac. I’ve seen you use the DDJ1000 in a really cool way. Please advise on which gear you think I should go for. Thanks in advance, Senior.

@@fiififrempong-ansah1895the gear question is always a difficult. It depends on what your goals are. If you wanna play in clubs or festivals in the future you should go for something from pioneer dj as they are the market leaders and there gear is all over the place. If you wanna make weddings or birthdays you should go for standalone gear that supports streaming and that looks great to impress the people that pay you so much for their wedding 😄👌🏻 if you just want a great unit for yourself to have fun then go for the mixtream pro go because I think at this moment it’s best bang for buck value! If you want to stay with algorithm djay than go for the Mixon 8 as there are not so many controllers out for that software ;)

@@cadepatel5643that is no special effect it’s just slightly imperfect beat matching ☝🏻the beats are not 100% aligned but 95%. And before and after the transition i use a short echo effect

Hey I would definitely suggest Beatport for this kind of music or electronic music because it’s the biggest and best platform for electronic music on the internet for dj for years. I bought most of my tracks from it before there was an option to stream. For birthday party’s, weddings or commercial gigs I’d suggest Tidal as it is more likely a Spotify for djs 😉☝🏻

@@davidmahnerdo you know if amazon music is updated to show bpm on these engine dj devices? Or still no bpm? Someone said that it shows people after you load track and it should remember for next time. Is this true?

⁠yes it should do 👍🏻 because when you load a track on any streaming service it got analysed to show you grid and bpm information and this information is stored on your sd card or usb stick (whatever is plugged into the device) 😉✌🏻

Forgot to ask, can you assign different effects to the FX paddles now & also adjust the wet/dry parameters on the touch screen? I know this wasn't a feature on the original Mixstream pro & wondered if engine DJ had updated the software for this. Thanks

I dj’d 20 years before any of this gear was even thought about. When sync came out I was so against it. Now though the reality is if your beat matching looking wave forms with beat markers your just wasting time you could be doing something creative. The beat match era is over. Unless your still on actual vinyl just use sync and stop pretending your doing something. Do it with the library open lol. Then your actually beat matching. But with waveforms your just saying look at me and in turn not giving as good a set as you could have.
