They all could take DNA tests to find earlier African Ancestors. A Mitochondrial, Y Chromosomal and Autosomal tests could reveal haplogroups, ethnicities, and modern relatives from the Continent of Africa.

I’m not certain about Canada, but there’s records that show Natives owned AA slayes. Comedian Chris Rock’s ancestors were one of them. This was discovered when he traced his ancestors.

Also, if you cannot see the differences in “African Americans” and African’s you’re blind. African’s have many differences from us, for an example I’ve met enough Igbo people to see the differences between them and Yoruba people. East African’s look nothing like South African’s. Then people like to say, well “Black” American’s mixed with European’s or some other group/group’s of people. Well, if one parent is Zulu and another Xhosa isn’t that “mixed”??
