What a fantastic set!🔥🔥 You can easily tell that Flavour is a seasoned musician. Look at the way he engaged the audience and interacted with them. Plus it shows that rehearsals and preparation went in for his set. The coordination between him, his dancers and the band shows. I also love that the dancers looked like they were having fun as well, it added to the colour!🙌🏾 Some performers act like the dancers are merely moving props that sometimes get in the way, but he was having a blast and they too, as well.👏🏾👏🏾 This is an aside, but I just LOVE that he was out there rocking golden sequins up and down🤣🤣😂🙌🏾🙌🏾

Flavour's music is mostly inspired by his ancestral, native riddim Igbo. Meanwhile, Ghana is claiming it's their music. It's like Nigeria is not capable of modernizing or repackaging their native rhythms with Western musical instruments. The irony is that Nigeria has far more music genres than Ghana, because Nigeria is massively more diverse. Ghanaians are not familiar with Ogene, Okanga, Ekombi, Nupe, Apala, Fuji, and many other Nigerian genres. You can hear echoes of these and other genres in Nigeria's music. Whenever Ghanaians hears any rhythm that's similar to their own, they will claim it's their music. Ghanaians are already claiming South Africa's Amapiano.
