All my greenland rolling has come from watching their first video. I have just bought their second and will no doubt get enormous information and advance my rolling . If only I was that supple.

is this possible from an inverted stationary position? seems like they are using the momentum of the capsize to precipitate the roll
@justinecurgenven6 жыл бұрын
Yes its possible! At least if you have as good technique as Cheri!

What a beautiful execution! Still going to school what you’re showing here… Question is your bottom coming off the seat to get that type of rotation on the shoulders? Thanks for your support!

Looks like a handmade SOF with maybe built with a lower volume-specifically to enhance rolling.

Yoga and kayaking are separated primarily by water. Flexibility is trainable.

I'm going to show this to my beginner rolling students because this isn't beginner rolling, I am struck by how the principles are so much the same. In other words, it isn't about the hands or the paddle, it's about how we move the body.

There are other, more practically useful hands rolls. I recommend Ken Whiting's video on the topic for a playboater's perspective. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKbcqX9vZZWWgZI
