Yesss that’s why I found him too. Tried asics, Clifton, and realistically 1080v13, balos, and 990 are the only ones that work for me and I recommend

@ I loved my balos. Note it takes getting used to walking in them at first with the rocker and they do have a lot of side to side movement. If you pronate a lot or are prone to rolled ankles I’d buy them somewhere you can return them if they don’t work. But my feet never hurt all day at work in them

You converted me to NB a couple of years ago with your review of the More v4. The all grey 1080v13 'sneakers' are the best lifestyle versions hopefully NB will bring out a 1080v14 edition. Love the More v5 as well. Keep up the great work with the channel Hes!

bought the same exact colorway you have after seeing your initial review. They have been great. I had to force myself to not wear them to work. I have so many comfy pairs of shoes and I end up wearing them to work a ruining them, so it was a struggle to actually keep these as everyday non-work shoes. I also just purchased a pair of NB Numeric Tiago's Lemos 1010s after seeing a review on them. Those arrive on Tuesday and I can't wait to try those out.

I tried on both the v13 and v14 at a shoe store based off your recommendations. I walked out with the v13, it was just that much more comfortable IMO. Thanks for the recommendations! Crazy to say these are even more squishy than the On CloudSurfers I previously found to be the most comfortable shoes.

I love the cloudsurfers but it stands no chance against the 1080

I found both the 1080v13s and the cloudsurfers to be very comfortable, but both were too unstable for me as an overpronator. I didn't buy them just tried in store. The More V4 and V5 however are much more stable. However, I bought the V4 but found that the raised inner sidewall constricted my foot too much so went back to my Kayanos. When the V5s go on sale I'll probably buy those, and I'll try the V14s too as He's said they are slightly more stable.

@@michaeltran2743 I was really surprised but you're totally right. I will say one thing though - even though the 1080s are more comfortable, the cloudsurfers feel more natural on my foot when I'm walking. I can definitely feel the stack with the 1080s, especially in the front. Cloudsurfers seem to have a more uniform/consistent feel front to back. Definitely not as squishy as the 1080s though lol.

@@formulaic78 I agree the stability is not excellent on the 1080 v13s or the cloudsurfers.. More v4/5 and 1080v14 are definitely more stable. I just felt that stability came at the cost of comfort for those models. It would be nice to see a shoe that can do max cushion and stability in one.

I have the 14. I bought it 3 weeks ago for my new job (walking and standing for 10 hrs a day)and it’s the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. When these wear out I might try the 13 and see what’s up

Nah sticks to 14. 13 is so unstable! Idk why but rebelv4 is so much better than 1080s.

My only bone with this shoe is that it's way too close to the More V5 now. Looks, weight, cushioning... But still, I bought a pair because I love this colorway! LOVE them!!

Good day. Thank you for the review. I’ve enjoyed your reviews that I have listened and watched over time. I admit I’m not subscribed but will do so today. I purchased the NB 1080v14 today. I totally concur on your assessment. I have been walking in them for approximately 4 hrs today. In the past I could not wear the previous 1080s because they were to mushy and caused me to have heel issues. So far today after several hrs no sign of heel issues. I find the shoe definitely is firmer but a softer side of firmness if that makes sense. The 1080 had good rebound and has the feel of hey, I want to run. I personally like the look of the shoe. Thanks again for your review. I have the Pale Moss colored.

Hes put me onto the 1080 line and i got the v10’s. love these shoes out of everything i use for walking/standing. I used to think Ultra Boost was the best but not after these. I’m waiting to wear these down before i get the new V14. keep up the vids Hes!

I bought these and wore them to work for one day and my feet hurt! I returned those and bought the Pegasus 41. Way more comfortable imo.

I just got the asics novablast 5. Its pretty nice. Not as squishy as the 1080s but they have more bounce. Ff blast max is NICE. I wish they wouldve used it on the nimbus 27, but maybe the 27 will be loke the 25s. New balance is definitely my favorite brand! I wear running shoes casually and new balance has the best foam! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TRY THE NEO VISTA. YOULL LOVE IT!

My wish for these shoes, and other shoes of this type, is to take this tooling and give it a classic upper like a 574 or 990v3. adidas used to do this a lot during the boost heyday, but lately I don’t think anyone is doing that.

The more pronounced rocker profile especially at the front is not attractive and bothers me, so I got another V13 (with a flatter front) at Joe's instead. Took a while to get used to the extreme softness of the midsole and lack of stability but it worked well. I am hoping for a more attractive 1080 w/ the feel of the V12 - stable, light & not tiring on the legs after lots of daily walking in Tokyo. Co-worker is recommending the 990V6 but I don't know if it is as comfy daily walker as a 1080.

I love new balance! Balos is awesome! I bought another pair of v13s for 90$ while their on sale. I LOVE THE SQUISHY! You still gotta try the Mizuno Neo Vista, its a badass shoe!

V14 was a bit too squishy for me. Felt like it took more energy to walk around while battling the squish. Also was tight in the toes, even at 4E width. The ceiling of the toe area was very uncomfortable. Eventually I goy the Asics Nimbus 25 instead. A bit more firmness and spring while still having a foamy cushion. The Nimbus 26 however felt a little tighter. But both Nimbus didn't give me that toe ceiling hurt that the NB v14 did.

A goretex waterproof version would be great for the 1080. It’s what is keeping me away from buying another pair.

Update, I bought the 1080v14 and love them more so than last year model. They are not as bouncy which is better on my feet, though they are a bit narrower than the 1080v13's. However a winterize version would be great especially with how cold it is through out the lower 48 the last couple weeks.

I think I tried the V12 and thought it was an unstable shoe. Not sure if it's too much cushion or what but it was not the best for maneuvering in at dirt tracks through bleachers etc

Hey, man! Please check out the Mount to Coast P1 (stability) which is marketed as their walking shoe, though the R1R has the more durable rubber sole. Also: Karhu Fusion 4.0 or whichever model has their new nitrogen midsole.

I will not buy 1080s again. Just bought 1080v13 a month ago and its soft but so UNSTABLE! After i used it my feet and ankle hurts! Its not comfortable at all. I recommend FuelCell Rebel v4. Much better shoes and fits perfectly.

1080 V13 is much softer but less stable. The most softest & comfortable shoe nowadays, too bad it lacks stability on the ankle and cuboid key-point. V14 little more stable and firmer. Both v13 & v14 too tight in a toe box, even if you get it in wide or extra wide, the top part of the toe-box still compresses the toes from the top and also overheats them.

I’m using the More v5 since a month for all my walks and it’s amazing. I’m 95kg’s and do 15km walks / hikes on them. I did some running in them but prefer them more for my walks and run in other brands.
