Around a decade ago, my parents bought me a gift for graduation: the first generation MacBook Pro with Retina Display. From ultra-low-budget music videos and my first professional reel to volunteer campaign efforts and the Beat Building content on this channel, it was my partner in creating projects I have personally come to cherish. But lately, it has been showing signs that it’s ready to take a break.
And so, after 10 years of unfailing service (save for the battery and speakers-these ones are on me tho lol), the time has come to retire my last Intel-based laptop. And standing in its place is the MacBook Pro powered by M1 Max, an Apple Silicon.
This new laptop has big shoes to fill. Just like its predecessor, I reasonably expect it to serve me well for 10 years, and hopefully beyond. Nevertheless, this MacBook is a personal milestone of mine, being the first computer I bought hehe

I feel mouses can be super helpful for people who use a lot of "click and drag" motions in their workflow. :) Speaking for myself but maybe GSP would agree, working on the photos and videos we shoot is easier with a mouse vs. the trackpads of a laptop. Just my two cents. ✌️

@@NicoNuyda I never have issues with click and drag actions on my MacBook touchpad.. I work as a photographer. Only in Photoshop or illustrator I prefer a mouse, but only because those aren't optimized for touchpad usage

To be honest i don’t think you need a case for your MacBook. I do a lot of stuff carrying my macs around and they never got any scratch. Meanwhile this case looks really chunky. Then rather get some skin from dband.
