@@theFullMeasure after watching i have some THOUGHTS. clairvoyance should be in one trick pony tbh, it is really good with viessa. i also appreciate its weird build that uses -fire rate mods, so you spend as much time as possible with the hardest hitting beam. im fond of beam weapons however, bc they remind me of lasers from borderlands: pre-sequel. rifling reinforcement, chill enhancement, refridge gun barrel, slow art, better insight, expand weapon charge, insight focus, superconductivity charge, spray and pray, better concentration. for me it could go in fun too! not sure how well hailey can use it yet (STILL havent got her.) ok prepare yourself for my in defense of: blue beetle, piercing light, and divine punishment. to be FAIR, i think you are correct in their current state, HOWEVER, my hope and my dream: blue beetle: i think it should just be a self cleansing weapon essentially. i think if it was changed to something like 'when you crit a weakspot, you remove any debuffs from yourself and any allies in [x] radius.' it could be used as an answer for raids such as deathstalker, where even if you get hit by an attack and receive the debuff, you can cleanse it. if you wanted to go the extra mile, maybe for each cleansed debuff you gain 5% firearm atk for 60 seconds or something? this would also make it an excellent hybrid weapon to build for both crit and weakspot damage, so it could be a good generalist weapon, even outside of its cleansing gimmick. i think potentially as more bosses are introduced with more debuffs, it could prove more useful with some slight changes. piercing light: very similar to the above, but on the opposite end of the spectrum. i think this should just be a dispel weapon. where blue beetle is concerned with removing debuffs from yourself, i think piercing light should excel at removing buffs from bosses. granted, thats not a popular gimmick right now, with only executioner really doing so, but i think in time we may see more bosses use such mechanics, giving this more value than it currently has. again, could go the extra mile and if you remove a buff from boss, get 20% extra firearm damage for like 20sec? divine punishment: i think it should just be reworked as an ability if im honest. i think it would be more useful overall if when you buffed an ally, they also got healed for like 50% max hp over 15 sec. and when you healed an ally, they get a 25% def buff for 15 sec. if BOTH buffs are active at the same time, the entire party gets +20% firearm atk for 15 sec. current divine punishment isnt useful enough on multiple characters, and its a lot of words for effects that you dont really feel ya kno? i think its FINE as is, but only really for yujin, when i think it could just be so much more. run over enzo crit boxes to heal for example. or standing in jayber healing turret zone giving you that additional padding, etc. i just think it could have so much more synergy across the roster than it currently does. i do still think it should retain its 'for supports' vibe as a gun, but i think about something like nazeistra's devotion where its clearly meant for a supportive utility option but can be used by anyone. i hope thats the direction they go with it, while it would still shine MOST with supportive utility based descendants, similar to naz devo. anywho, back to lvling shit, thank you for the break.

I actually use Blue Beetle as a stat stick with Viessa using Cold Bloodedness spamming her 4. Wasn't the mounting I wanted, but at least it has some benefits. Adds 30% skill crit.

Ive been having a lota fun using the Albion Calvary MG too. Great to use in 400 dungeons (when there's no Freyna or Bunny) and it's kinda funny seeing mobs of Vulgus stand around with headaches looking sick aa you zoom around them blasting them away

Shotguns have been one of the biggest disappointments for me from the beginning. In any shooter I love to have a heavy hitting shotgun on hand but the weak damage and terrible ammo management have made them useless to me.

Perf is the best stat stick for Hailey and Freyna's 4 and a great add clear weapon for crit characters. If you have Hailey, it's a must have.

Why perforator on Hailey, she can reach 100% crit with pretty much anything - enduring legacy/thundercage/piercing light. For her zenith (4th) piercing light is top 1 by far.

Enduring Legacy and Secret Garden are so meta i built a second gun for each of them. One for Colossus and one for regular bossing. given Nexon event, that is how I am saving myself the grind for EL bps and SG nano tube bps.

Omg my buddy and I love Kings Guard Lance. It is perfect for out post missions and shreds. I usually will use it on 400% dungeons as well to damage one boss while we focus on the other. And when someone else has one it makes my day 🤣🤣🤣

Peacemaker is a gun that you dont need to use, if it is with all singularities, if you are using with Valby. Because Valby habilities make so much damage with it. I use a combo with Pacemaker for mobs and Eduring Legacy for boss... If they emproove the time of debuff of Nazeistra, i could use it too...

There is a lot that can be done with ult weapons. As for the best in class ones, those are there because of the horde style enemies, so the rate of fire, ammo, and damage are king. Launchers could be tweaked so that a direct hit from the shell is 50% more damage or something similar. WoL I use as my get the weakpoint to yellow gun or when I need a scope to shoot the frenzy tubes. Voltia has been a good time so far, and Hammer & Anvil is sort of in the Excava spot right now, but with high-powered rounds economy restriction.

Needs Work and OTP need more defined boundaries as categories imo. How is smithereens technically above executor when executor at least has a purpose. Also Blue Beetle to me feels like a OTP because it’s used purely for its ability in niche situations. I LOVE it on Bunny for Deathstalker because I can just hot swap to it, start sprinting, and boom debuff cleared and I can swap right back to EL.

The problem with Fallen Hope is its unique ability is redundant to what Freyna can already do, especially when using Contagion. If the weapon could apply poison debuffs on its own and have some effect based on that--say, increased crit rate when shooting poisoned enemies--It would open up more use cases in terms of which descendants can really benefit from it. As for shotguns, I feel they need to switch ammo types with scout rifles. High-impact rounds seems like something intended for marksman/sniper weapons. Shotguns should be treated as room-clearing weapons with a slower fire rate but more plentiful ammunition.

Kings guard with a frost build is really stronk. Damage plus the cc is super strong for mobbing.

King guard Lance is a must have for every descendant… even bunnies since they just run around mostly. Enables all decedents to be helpful in spawn killing and defending all mission objectives. Can be buffed from Sharen, Hailey, Enzo, Valby, and any other descendants that can buff their firearm attack… even with descendants that can use Passionate Sponsor… including Jaybear, Ajax, Yugin, etc. But major downside is that special weapons and swapping weapons removes the turrets. And piercing light better then afterglow with Sharon for one shot kills on outpost bosses. More base damage combined with the reload damage weapon mod. I’ve carried so many people by using kings guard Lance in defense missions and 400%. Use a cd/range/duration Lepic and suck all the enemies into the turrets too. But obviously want to switch to different weapon for bosses.

Honestly, any weapon of any tier using High-Powered Rounds is largely at a disadvantage compared to the other ammo types. I find that General and Special rounds are tied for first place, with Impact rounds being in second place. HP rounds are a very distant third place. I've been playing since launch and I still can't fathom for the life of me why Nexon decided to go a completely different route with HP rounds compared to the other 3 types. Why limit your weapon using HP rounds to just 5 shots when you spawn? Unless there's an Enzo, or you are playing Rocket Gley, you're essentially holding a stat stick. Nexon simply needs to bring HP rounds in line with the rest. Spawn with 5 in the magazine and 15 shots in the bag and get 5 more after the countdown to an Intercept boss or mission start. And allow the Supply Drone at a camp in the open world to give 15 more for a total of 30. The current implementation is just stupid.

How "fun" a gun is to use, has actually become a more important part of the game to me after playing for quite a while. Enduring Legacy will always have a place at my top table, but it's also fun to break out other weapons for different descendants. I agree with your disgust for Beam Rifles, and I also really enjoy using Pistols. They just feel fun and smooth, and the "brrrrr" of their fire rate is such a beautiful symphony of death. Are they the best? No, but I play this game for "fun" and there is no denying that is what they are. I sadly agree about "Fallen Hope" but I still use it on my Ult Freyna, I can't help myself! Secret Garden is clearly a much better choice but, my God, is it ugly!

Bunny used to hurt team mates routinely exploding ammo/gas, even killing teammates. Killing teammates with launcher - yeah - all bunnies will get the shots. In short - won't happen.

@@-Buckarooz 'course I got that but it'd do not happen (the self harm). Overall all weapons direct damage (outside enduring legacy) is outclassed by the magic (arche) in this game. The latter has to be toned down significantly and stupid stuff like 596% increase defense (400% dungeons), disabled crit effect and weak point damage (250% dungeons) entirely deleted to make most guns useful.

Fallen Hope is the gun I use the most with Freyna just because I like how it looks, and the Excava is in my opinión the most beautiful gun in the game I love the look of it the sound, but as a weapon it SUCKS.

I always use restored relic with enzo or Ajax mainly enzo for 400% dungeons first start with 4th ability. use enduring legacy or other hmg and then from a distance rain down the missiles. And for collosus fights, only and only when the boss health is about 15 percent or lower or DONT use the launcher at all heck at 10 percent to be safe or again just dont use the launcher at all wether full health or 10 percent. Main reason frenzied state. I used it once when death stalker was really low only because the frenzied bar builds up slower and I was taking good amount of health with the launcher and all 3 team members were down so I said f it.

It feels like they lean on the skill spam side more than gun shooting. As you said most of the fun have ammo economy and handling issue. Maybe I shouldn't be comparing it with an FPS game like Destiny but this game's gun mechanism is not great if bot bad. The sound effect sucks. I feel like playing with toy guns most of the time and only tacticle rifles feels decent to me.
