So I'm someone who does a ton of regular gauntlets because I finish them fast, they're stress free, and it's guaranteed quick completion. The lower drop rates suck but I also am getting way completions so I don't feel too guilty about doing this over CG. When it comes CG I cannot do it for the life of me. I have a tough time getting t2 armor every time no matter what time saving tricks I do because resource rng just screws you some times and I think my stats 86hp 93 ranged 90 mage, 77 def, 80 prayer require me to have both t3 weapons and t2 armor. I know people are getting completions with worse stats than me and probably with t1 armor but I also know those hunlyff fights are LONG. My question for any CG veterans is: Is it worth it to waste time in CG knowing that every run isn't going to be a completion, or should I continue to grind normal gauntlet where I know I'm getting fast and easy completions guaranteed? I'm sure I'll be able to manage CG better one day but at the moment it doesn't feel worth low percentage of completions.

I was in the same position as you. Did regular gauntlet for 50 KC cause I thought it would prepare me for CG. It did not. I think at 1 point I was 5 KC CG with around 50 deaths. It’s just something you have to force on yourself until you get it down. It’s very worth it. I do t1 helm/legs and t2 body with t3 staff/bow. This prep guarantees I only have to make 2 trips out of the main room, 1 trip for armour resources/herbs, 1 trip for weapons/fish . Hope this helps.

@@ckaiser74 it definitely does, I think my most frustrating thing is I refuse to abandon a run where I very clearly will not have the time to do the prep that's needed and I think I've done that enough times where I just went back to normal gauntlet. I think my other issue is I have an easier time literally doing a solo run of a raid lmao so it's hard to make it feel worth it but I want pet and bowfa so the grind keeps me coming back

Enh seed is 1/400 from cg but 1/2000 from regular. So if you can get done 1 cg in the time it takes you to do 5 regular then cg is more worthwhile. Even if doing cg would be slightly slower with your current skill at it, I'd still say it's better to do cg so you can improve. It'll make you a lot better at pvm in general

@@TS-uu4hp gauntlet will almost leave u worse off because you’re developing habits and patterns that just won’t work in CG. You have to get used to prepping a lot faster, I’d recommend just doing t1 prep until you get more familiar with CG.
