Even if I wasn't born until '97, many of my favorite moments of the show were from the Michael Yarmush era (1996-2000). Although I do have a weak spot for many episodes after that, such as "Elwood City turns 100", (Season 7), "Bugged" (Season 8), "D.W. Beats All" (Season 9), "Family Fortune" (Season 10) "Phony Fern" (Season 11) and "The Wheel Deal" (Season 14).

I think that's also the key to good writing in general. Being conclusion-oriented obfuscates personal experience where things don't add up. I think that is part of the success of Arthur, is that it is experience-oriented. That is, it goes off of what is seen, and includes points contrary to a conclusion and takes it in stride without brushing them under the rug. It is honest to life, not hiding anything for the sake of propaganda. If we can all share our "original point(s) of view," we can make the world a better place if we can stop hiding the parts we are ashamed to share.

@@FloridaMan69. At least it’s better than The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Hannah Montana, Liv & Maddie, iCarly, Marvin Marvin, and Henry Danger.

@@FloridaMan69. Most people will not agree with you. There's a reason why out of all of the ancient kid shows, this is the one that MULTIPLE news outlets have celebrated... There's also a reason why this particular show made it to 25 years and ended in a natural way... instead of getting silently canceled like virtually any other PBS kids show. Yeah.. Arthur is legitimately in the running for AT LEAST one of the greatest kids' shows of all time. Even if you don't like the show yourself, that doesn't change the fact that it is a cultural icon in multiple countries and has shaped those cultures drastically for the last 25 years. I'm gonna say that like 90% of people who watched the show were influenced by it... and that's a generous number on your behalf. (It's probably more like 98% realistically.)

I love Arthur. I remember as a small child in the 90's watching an episode every weekday morning while I ate breakfast before going to school. I definitely agree with Marc Brown, teachers are not given enough credit for what they do. They believe in every child that they teach. Thank you Marc Brown for making Arthur! Thank you teachers for inspiring the future generation!

Man. I’m 19 now and never thought too much of Arthur. I watched it a lot as a younger kid and really liked it, but it always seemed like one of the shows that would never end, so now that it has it just hit me like a bag of bricks. Thank you Marc. I hope to have my kids someday watch Arthur. Really brings back memories of a simpler time long gone where the horrors of the world weren’t even known to me yet. So many friends and experiences I used to have when watching the show that are gone now, only memories. It’s so hard to explain but man this show really means more to me than I ever thought it did.

Oh my god. I can’t believe it’s over. Arthur was such a huge part of my childhood, and now it’s finally ending. I would watch in TVO Kids at 8:00 in the morning before school and at 4:00 after school. This show had brought taught me a lot and gave me and many other people a lot memories to look back at. I stopped watching the show for a while, these news came as a big shock to me to know that this beloved children’s show is reaching its finale. Thank you Marc Brown, for the wonderful lessons and moments that you and our favourite 8-year old aardvark gave to us ♥️

I'm 25 years old and I literally grew up with this show. The thing with Arthur is that every chaactar has a great story attached to them and they continue with it for the whole series. You really learn that no charactar is perfect but that as long as they work together and open thier minds, they can do anything. I really love this show and if I ever have kids, I will show them the show and read them the books.
