Great review! Well done, I'm grossly overweight and I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so I wanted to get a shoe that would help me to improve my fitness and actually walking and then eventually building up to do a few 5ks. I managed to get the V4 for a really good deal and I'm so happy with her. What I wanted was a shoe that I wouldn't resent wearing when I went on long distances that I could concentrate on my fitness and not on my foot. I'm happy to say the V4 has done just that and I'm very pleased so far

I feel the same about the More v4! At first I didn't get how a higher stack 1080 v12 would be at all interesting, but after getting the More v4, the 1080 has been demoted to 'walk around' shoe. The More is just so much better! The ride is so smooth, you just keep on going. And unlike a lot of other New Balance shoes, it's easy to find them cheap. I paid 158 euro total for 2 pairs. The More v4 has become my 'if you could only have one shoe', even though I have way more exciting shoes, like the SC Trainer, RC Elite v2, SC Elite v3, and Endorphin Pro 3.

Every shoes i run in makes 500 , one pair at 1350 miles now . Love new balance although ASICS last better . The fuel cell v4 is also a lovely shoe , although i just got them so not even 100 miles yet . The Adidas switch fast forward is a bizarre shoe but so good i have a second new pair waiting to go , they honestly work for me as well as the prime X's 👍

I will try the More v5 next year for sure ! I keep hearing great things about the More since version 4. My most durable high cushioning shoes for the past two years have been the Adidas SolarGlide 5 & 6 and the Ultraboost 22 & Light . Both models worked for me really well for about 650km ( ~450 miles) before I ended up donating them because I wanted to use my other shoes. They are heavy shoes, but if I could only have one high cushioning shoes, it would be the SolarGlide . This year, I got my Asics Gel-Nimbus 25, lasting almost as much as my Adidas shoes, but the Gel-Nimbus 24 is still the best Nimbus and all around high cushioning + very speedy shoes. I'm trying now the React X Infinity RN 4 ( almost as comfortable as the Nimbus 25 but more versatility), and I just ordered the Structure 25. I'm trying Nike against in hardcore mode after a few years only using the Pegasus line. These two cushioning shoes from Nike should last me a very long time, but Adidas is still my favorite brand for high durableand fastest shoes.

Perhaps somewhat of an echo chamber, but the endorphin speed 3 is the shoe I have bought over and over and over again. I am currently on my 4th pair. It's just such a nice ride and it feels "like home". Currently I am thinking of trying out the superblast in my next shoehaul (+ ofc a pair of speed 3)🙄

I share your affinity for it! I ordered a new pair of ES3 last week and then ordered a pair of the Shift 3 this week for only $68. The company mistakenly sent me a pair of Speed 3s instead, so I’ve accidentally gotten two new pairs of Speed 3s in the past week 🤷‍♂️😂

I love my v3. Really great for my old legs. I probably have 40km on them. It sounds like I can wait for the v5.

I bought two pairs of ASICS Novablast 3’s. My first pair lasted just over 350 miles, but my second pair should surpass that soon! Have mainly used them for daily miles, but some long runs and threshold workouts.

That’s awesome! I’ve enjoyed my pair so far through its first 232 miles. Definitely showing some wear on the rubber and exposed midsole at this point, but the ride has remained steady thus far!

I really enjoyed the More v3 but I don't care for the v4. I actually find the v4 softer to the point of being mushy, which makes it a bit of a slog. The geometry is fantastic; it's just the foam. Put in Asics FF Blast+ or Puma's Nitro and the shoe is amazing.

I feel like the foam feels different depending on when they were manufactured. My first pair felt stiff and a bit more on the responsive side while my brand new pair feels, like you said, mushy. It’s really odd, and I’ve experienced similar feelings when buying multiple pairs of Endorphin Speeds for instance.

@@HobbyJoggerElite That's interesting. Maybe different factories or something else that is messing with their quality control. I have about 250 miles on the More v4 and, now, almost that many on the Nimbus 25 and that one works great for me; less aggressive rocker but it rolls along nicely and I don't feel like I'm running in sand.

I am surprised that this shoe is so popular. The shoe is too stable and the freshform is inferior to fuelcell. I enjoy rebel v3 way more and that's the shoes i have two pairs for. lighter and the midsole is way more responsive.

I definitely agree with the sentiment that the Rebel is a much more fun shoe and fuel cell is far more lively. That said, for daily training purposes (especially on days where I don’t want to think about my foot strike as closely), the More is what I’m reaching for. I love the Rebel for uptempo easy runs/steady runs though!
