Yeah I was surprised Keith Mitchell stepped up to the plate and sung Melvin’s 2nd verse he’s usually not heard. It’s been that way for 30 years til now.🤣 don’t get me wrong Keith can sing...But this is my first time seeing him seeing him sing on a live video

He chose the background for most of the career. He chose to only help out on lead vocals when they did live performances. He actually could sing pretty good. He just chose not to be in the forefront.

@@IndigenousIndianLady65 Oh no, not him. Melvin's son is that young bald-headed guy, he is awesome. Kinda sounds like his uncle and his dad combined. His name is Jason. Keith is the other original member who normally doesn't sing much lead. But he sang Melvin's part in the bridge for this performance. In 'Baby I'm for Real' he also sang the part, 'I see the little tears, in your eyes, bout to fall, you are wondering if I'm for real.'

I'm in my sixties and believe me when I tell you some of the songs and groups from the 90's was just as good as the groups and songs from the 60's and 70s. I love everything Baby Face put out and contributed to. To me he is a genius. This group that consisted of his two bothers in my opinion was under rated. I loved the music from the 60's, 70's and 90's. Didn't care to much for the music from the 80's.

Keith didn't sing by choice. He liked arranging the harmonies and singing in the background and only singing lead to help out if someone was hoarse. He's singing more now by Kevon's request
