Looks like tough competition from Ellington, Imtiaz, Meeras, Sobha, etc brought EMAAR to its knees and that explains the slashed prices.

Every location has its own price range. If you pay attention, you’ll notice it’s around 1100 AED per square foot, which is reasonable for South Dubai at the moment and leaves sufficient value for investors to make returns. Emaar has once again proven itself as a responsible developer, deserving of the pole position it has earned over the years.
