I feel Jay was chosen because of his effort, being more proactive in pursuing Shermin. Especially the surprise date, his romantic gesture definitely melt her heart. I felt that Jay captured her heart when he make the first move to hold her hand at the right time. Smooth one Jay! I feel initially she has stronger feelings for Rich due to his fun personality and looks. However, like he said, there is lack of effort from his end too. During the KL trip, he did not up his game, thus he has fallen into the friendzone. I think is just because he is not that into her. I believe if a guy is really into a girl, his behaviour will be more like Jay.

The app companies make their money from guys having to pay fees/subscriptions to try boost their visibility on the platforms because most are simply not being swiped on to get as many matches, let alone dates. There is data to back all this especially here in Western societies. Not sure if it's the same in Eastern ones.

@lifeisgood2542 I think waiting to date until you are truly ready for a relationship is actually the opposite of desperate. Desperate is what people are who are constantly on dating apps for years on end and jumping from relationship to relationship with people not good for them because they don't like themselves enough to be alone with themselves for a single second. Meanwhile, I have enjoyed time being purposefully single to work on self-growth. I highly doubt you're doing all that well yourself, considering you're spending your time (poorly) attempting to make others feel lesser in a youtube comment. Good luck finding someone with all of your positive charm and wits.

I really like how she didn't give off desperate energy when he asked her about being exclusive. She is sure of herself and taking her time. I admire her patience and wish I was more like that! Whoever she gets will be worth waiting for I'm sure.

This video very interesting. It is obvious that Jay is interested in Shermin. But Shermin doesn’t seem that interested in him, she seems more interested in Rish who doesn’t seem interested in her. 😂 Watching part 2 then part 1, realised it seems her feelings was the most for Ryan, then Rish then Jay. 😞
