You mentioned a good point. People say Mitsubishis give problems. Had a Lancer, 2013, for 4 years. I drove it quite a lot too and all I had to do was basic maintenence with no issues. The person who bought it from me has no issues either. Don't knock it till you’ve tried it.

I own one, 2023, drives well, fairly comfortable, however, I think the braking need improvement, need a more modern radio. But it drive well as I said, and I have taken it off-road several times and it performs excellent in those conditions

I have driven the Hilux and the L200 on several occasions and I’ll say the Hilux is more powerful and rugged and the L200 is more comfy but too delicate to me. So I’d prefer the Hilux any day

It's an SUV with an open back, not a truck. That's why it drives smooth etc. Not a work horse for a contractor. Japan have 3 good manufacturers Toyota, Honda & Nissan. The new Tundra from Canada with 5.7L Cummins diesel engine is fantastic.

Lol you don't even own one so stfu. I've used my 2019 Mitsubishi Triton for more than 200,000km now anf I've used it as a pick up and there's no issue.

Huh.... Mitsubishi L 200 is built for work... ask persons who run them in the mines...ask JPS....Ask the Police... ask me... I own one... I bought it after extensive research.. had a 1993 one and now a 2025... it's a workhorse ....my only gripe about the new one is it shudders over bumps...not comfy on our rugged roads.

I see a lot of old Mitsubishis in Europe that still run fine and some here in the states though they are not as popular here in Detroit where Chevy, Ford, Dodge & Yotas takeover.

I have driven both and the Hilux is by far the more comfortable one. Bear in mind that they have made significant changes with the Hilux from 2015 to 2024. The one I drive was a 2023 GR Sport and it is very comfortable especially compared to the L200
@SebastienVonHalen8 ай бұрын
Hilux comfortable?????? Reliable yes. Comfortable never ever
@davaunfrancis5908 ай бұрын
@@SebastienVonHalen can bet that you have never driven in a GR sport or a Rocco. From 2021 up in the higher trims they are very comfortable especially compared to the L200, if he thinks the L200 is comfortable then he will undoubtedly think the GR sport or Rocco is comfortable because they are way more comfortable than the L200. Especially the GR sport with shock absorbers. You can’t judge a vehicle by driving in the base model and expecting it to be comfortable.

@God-is-love-god-is8 ай бұрын
Ford runs up to 100,000 kilometers, and then it is no good. i like this truck, but I would go for the Honda ridgeline in North America it's called Black Edition it's the top trim for the ridgeline. Like you said, it's a truck, but rides like a suv and carries a lot of space.

I've seen a few L200 diesels and they were not able to keep the oil within the engines. Very basic pickup, however it should serve its purpose. Some people will like the simplicity of it compared to hilux, raptor etc with all the lipstick, eyeshadow and false eyelashes.

I like your argument I have own two of the previous versions of L200 they were great and yes people need to try other make vehicle in jamaica. Toyota has a rich history and they made some good trucks in the pass especially those that came with the L series engine 2L,3L,5L etc. The newer engines such as 1kd, 2kd etc, from Toyota are not as reliable as those in the pass but I guess people still hold them as the best base on there legacy and not there current standing. Today one of the most reliable trucks U can get is the Isuzu D max, for instance Isuzu guarantee you 400,000km from its 4jj1 engine if you treat it correctly, long and short of it there are truck that are just as good an even better than the Hilux in certain areas for less money.

Japan don't usually keep cars beyond 5 yrs old it's very expensive to do so as the government don't want that so old vehicle tax is really high. But almost everywhere else Evo s, WRXs, and Skyline GTRs are collector items and getting more and more expensive in some cases more than when they were new
