Your channel popped back up on my feed. I watched your Voyager rear wheel removal a while back👍🏿👍🏿. I was wondering where the Kawasaki Voyager went😄? Now I see. I was about to ask why you choose the Indian Pursuit, you provided the details. Thanks for the review. I feel the same way about my Vaquero 40K miles and still running strong, but I think it's time for a change. May go Challenger/Pursuit as well. Stay safe!!!

Thanks for checking out the video. Ya this bike is light years ahead of my voyager, let me know what you end up doing. Several voyager/ vaquero owners that follow my channel went the challenger or pursuit route and have been really happy they made the switch.

thanks for the video. just bought a 2023 Pursuit Limited Premium. So far loving it, even the seat - way better than the stock seat on my Chieftain and as comfortable as my Saddleman road sofa - knowing that everyone's butt is different :D. I am hoping the handlebars continue to work for me, if not, I will be going with the KST Cherokees

I saw that someone mentioned the KST bars. DMV Solorider got the first set of stainless steel and 4" pullback bars from KST, and I got the second set (according to them). Hopefully, you've found these and solved the problem of being stretched out. I'm 5'6" and just couldn't take being stretched out that far. My 22 Pursuit Limited is not perfect, but so far, it's becoming my favorite.
@C_Marty9101Ай бұрын
@@dennismims2999 thanks for the info. those and the Tab reduced reach bars are basically the two I’m considering I just need to find out if the stock cables will work with them or if I’ll need to get some extensions made.
@dennismims2999Ай бұрын
@C_Marty9101 The KST 4" pullback bars require no modification to the wiring. The only things to be aware of are the clutch side index hole and the rough finishing inside the bar, where it tapers down on both sides. Like I said, I got the second set they made, and somebody didn't take into account the bar end weight, which left me drilling sideways the width of the bar end weight. There was also a very rough finish inside the bars at the taper transition. I was worried about it scraping and damaging the wires, so slow and tedious filing on my part was what it took to clean it up. They have saved my back and made riding so enjoyable. I was able to move the backrest back and get off of the tank.

Like the review. I have a 22 Indian Challenger Darkhorse Icon. I did Tab Performance - Folsom Prison handlebars with a 4” rise. The width is still a lot larger than I like (36”). I would try a TBar setup like Spadys Speedshop - Twisted Tee-Bars. Width is only 31” which will bring your arms inside your shoulder range. Or I would try Klock Werks - Kliphangers.

Nice job. You or any viewers who own have any electrical problems? I love the bike but am hearing many concerns with potential ride command or electrical issues in general. Many owners with several trips back to the dealer and poor dealer support from that point. Just wondering if the majority have no problems. I do see many are disappointed. Thanks!
@C_Marty91014 ай бұрын
I have to say I’ve been pretty fortunate and had no electrical issues. The only problem I have with ride command so far and it’s very intermittent is the radio looses all Bluetooth connection and will not play audio anymore. All I’ve ever had to do was restart ride command and it works fine. I think this happened maybe 3 times since I’ve owned the bike

@@C_Marty9101Thanks for your input. Glad to hear you've had good luck overall. The Bluetooth connection loss is probably frustrating but if thats the worst of it, great. First world problem! 😅 So Ive only had sport bikes and now an FZ-10. Looking for my first cruiserish kind of bike as a second. I'm not interested in a Harley and really come to like the looks of the Pursuit/Challenger. I'm just hoping reliability would come with the not so small cost of the bike. I'm also hearing about poor paint quality and some fit n finish lacking.. thanks again for your response!

A note about your speakers. They’re 6.5”. None of the Challengers/Pursuits come with 5.25” speakers. They have different wattage depending on trim but they’re all 6.5”.
@C_Marty910111 ай бұрын
Well that’s not true, the tour pack only fits 5 1/4” the lowers only fit 5 1/4” and the speakers in my dash has the plate that’s needs to be removed to fit the 6 1/2”. Indian also has the power band 5 1/4” for the dash on challenger and pursuit for sale on their website. I don’t think they would sell a down size option
