Don't think about what you are giving up but rather what you are gaining. The sacrifices we make are paltry in comparison to the rewards. There is no sacrifice too great, not even close. How can they be, for union with the divine ? What do we give up anyway, not much. We can keep our jobs, homes, cars, clothes, partners, family and even our favourite Netflix shows. We simply have to make room for the Guru so naturally we have to let some things go, but not much... Yes, union means becoming that being, becoming god-like. But we don't believe it is possible. However, that is the essence of what saints teach us, that it IS possible. We cannot say that God doesn't do anything if we ourselves are the ones holding ourselves back by not listening to what the Gurus have said. Do it, it's worth the "struggle".

Can you please share how we can heal from the trauma of 1947 partition massacres, 1984-1995 (with respect to genocide of Sikhs) and hate crimes against Sikhs in the present day? It is a sensitive topic but it is so important to help in healing because of the intergenerational PTSD. Your insight would be so appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏽🌸

Hey man i have a question for you more like your p.o.v on this. This generation of kids i see that belong from punjabi family more like sikh families. Im seeing that they are getting influenced by western culture and their tradtions , they are forgetting their roots . Acknowledging someone's culture is a great thing but forgetting our gurus teaching and moral values isn't a much of proud . In india in some places there are sikhi based schools that teach the way of sikhi to young generation but in foregin countries u know what i mean . I get that lifestyle in foregein is hectic and busy for most people that sometimes they r spending less time with their kids teaching them about sikhi so dont u think in canada where most number sikhs live there after india , is a need to establish some schools that teach the way of gurbani and sikhi's moral values . And even in punjab some people are neglecting the way of sikhi . By opening schools i dont mean to preach kids about our religion or glorifying it by putting someone else down . I mean to spread our guru's teaching to young generation that help them be better person in their life and motivate others & help them growing. And by the way i love your content ❤ keep growing my brother .
