The reality you didn’t see yet. Just like we would never know how many Israelis died during the last year including this year. Lived trough a revolution in another country among the owners of an apartment complex in an attic little hole with five person no warm water no central heating altough every apartment had the mentioned comfort. The toalett was outside, must walking In hot or cold weather snow or rain it didn’t matter to them. We were their slaves but fortunately the situation changed by the bombing of the Soviet forces. All were running down to the bomb shelter and locked the door from inside and let us begging to enter, and even tough my parents did, the answer came from behind that heavy door, here is no more space for you and your children! After the situations gotten more easy, my father could find a little amount of active yeast my mom started to make bread dough and soon, the whole complex could smell the scent of fresh bread. Living in the attick level we could only approach it on a tight staircase, and surprise surprise, all the apartement owners were waiting and begging for just a tiny piece of bread stepping on each others feet almost fighting with each other. My father told my mom, if just a tiny breadcrumb will leave our place he would kill us all. Sorry for bothering anybody with my story about hiding in comfortable bomb shelters and let others die is a Jeez tradition. No wonder that they all have big noses and could smell fresh baked breads scent. About hiding, let them do, sooner or later they will or try to come to the surface, and the easiest way would be just let the starve to death. They had their turn and turned to animals instead being or just trying to be humans!
