BKB was murdered by the pressures and stress of being rich/famous; she frequented, I assume, the wrong places and met the wrong people. She didn't deserve to die so violently; she was so darn young. I don't know many 21/22 year olds, but I do know that they like to party/abuse their bodies (for pain sometimes). People in that age category should be more civil and down to earth; not floating high and forgeting the rest of the world. I was a rebellious teen/twenty year old, but I grew out of it. I tried beer, wine, cigs, but not marijuana, lsd, heroin or crack. I am not perfect, but then again who is ?! I am not implying that BKB was an addict, but then again maybe I am. Our president, no offense to the family, toked up in College yet he still became successfull. Not all addicts end up dead, but some do. It is a sad fact of life. I, too, have many vices but I have learned to suppress them and lead a semi-normal life. I pray that other families find peace and solice from drug-riddled American streets. Dealers at home and on the streets should be ashamed of themselves; they are killing our youths. ;(

martha jane I grew up in a drug infested neighborhood, with prostitutes etc, and I knew many families, whose parents, and grands were addicts, and they went on to become hard working citizens, and had to move because family members would steal everything they had to support the habit, and everything we had, if we did not watch them. I also saw some, who came out of good and moral homes, and they died early from drugs, AiDs etc. I learn from the people in my apartment to work and never touch the stuff, and at almost 73, I have had a wonderful life, and have helped others.

You are 100% correct. Dionne is a professional, but death in anyone's immediate family (and especially a famous one) is grounds for all immediate professional appearances terminated, no questions asked. It's not like she was cancelling a singing engagement or tour where money was on the line: she was appearing on a glorified talk show. Her appearance on this episode really made me look at her differently and negatively.

it's not like they didn't know the young woman was destined to die. clearly, she was dying for months and months before she actually died...it was just a matter of time. perhaps Dionne wasn't that close to Bobbi Kristina....not all relatives are emotionally close. Dionne is older....older folks can have a different stance or philosophy toward death than younger folks. and Dionne is Christian...she has reassurances about life after death that non-Christians don't have.
