Dr. Piper will probably never read this but as the pastor of a tiny house church who is walking through intense refining flames, I am grateful for his ministry. His gentle and humble spirit is often a balm to my bruised heart.

Our Father had me letting go of just listening to every sermons I can found about Him, and following whoever preaches about His word, He consecrated me unto holiness more - by introducing to me John Piper. As LORD God have said He will give to us pastors after His own heart - Jeremiah 3:15

Thank you for your preaching the Word of God in a manner which makes us want to listen to and seek Him whom you are preaching about. I came into contact with your books and preaching in 1987 and your sharing the Word has helped me, comforted me and encouraged me through my widowhood at the age of 36. God Bless you, your wife and family.

❤ You have helped me fall more in love with Jesus over and over again, Pastor John. ...You probably won't care for this -LOL- but 11 years ago, we named our daughter Piper, after you, because we're so grateful for your teachings of His Word.

Wow. So encouraging. I've been travelling around Europe and just got back from a church service in France and I am just so blown away and encouraged by God's amazing work, calling his people to himself, loving sinners throughout time and space, different contexts, histories, languages... it's just amazing. He is SO great, so magnificent, so beautiful, so GLORIOUS... and he unifies us all under him to be a part of this amazing glory- the blood of Jesus means we can be with him forever, we can know him, we can worship him. All of us together can sing praises to him forever, we are forgiven we are made holy, righteous, perfect- and we'll be with him like this forever! It blows my mind. God was at work in this man, in Geneva, in the 16th century and God is at work now-in John Piper, in the small country towns of Australia and in the heart of Lyon, France... he has a profound love for his people and goodness what a joy it is to know him, and to be a part of his love with all the saints as well. I'm only 19 and I am so excited to do life together with God and see more of this. To fall deeper in love with him and see more of this glory :) Thanks to the people that made this video.

God sent me to Paul Washer who woke me up to an awareness that I could be on my way to hell in my lukewarmness and apathy and ignorance of what it takes to be saved.. through his teachings I learned of you where God is showing me how to correct my course and be confident in Christ. Thank you so much for teaching Gods Word and providing biblical answers which bring wholeness to my Christianity. Jesus bless you greatly.

Indeed, science has brought a lot of light to our world through new medicines, discoveries, technologies, etc. But something it has also brought light to is that our universe hasn't always been, and has a beginning, which constitutes a Beginner. The more science discovers, the more we realize that we're not here randomly or by accident. Life is too intricate and well planned in harmony to be won by the cosmic lottery.
@TheShinedownfan218 жыл бұрын
***** Science exists because human intelligence investigates the world with observation and rational analysis, not because knowledge is handed down from on high by some invisible authority figure. What you are talking about is ignorance, fantasy and delusion, not science.
