You guys keep finding ways to make the game all the better. This is the kind of game that I always dreamed about growing up. Being able to step into the shoes of an animal and live their life. This is by far one of the best simulation games I have ever seen and you guys deserve all the love and respect you get for not only creating the original, but sticking with it and rebuilding it from the ground up to give us a fantastic look into the lives of a wolf living in yellowstone. I cant wait for Tower Fall and what it has in store for my pups and mate. And I also cant wait to see how things loop around back into winter and spring when new pups come along.

Heh the first time I played Slough Creek, I had three pups. Since there weren't a lot of them, I got pretty attatched. Everytime a predator came near, I got super anxious. Well, I was close to going to the rendezvous site when one of them fell ill. Luckily, he survived and I made it with all 3 of them in the end. I think this game draws a more emotional response to players because of the music, the longer play time you have with your pups, and the realistic aspect of the game. It surprised me when I felt genuinely distraught when one of the pups fell sick. This is my favorite game, and the Wolfquest team did a very very nice job!

I just played through Slough Creek! Wow! What a ride. My mate Sage and I only got 3 pups to begin with, but all three of them survived and I love the feature to play the game again as one of your pups. I cant wait for Tower Fall and to witness how my pups grow even more and even stronger. I also love the new models for the older pups! They are just so so SO adorable! It will be so cool to take them on their first hunts and get their help when it comes to raising a new litter. I literally can't wait!

It’s actually pretty rare for lions to cull the cubs of their new pride. The first time people observed a male lion taking over a pride, he happened to cull the cubs and although this is known to happen sometimes, the behavior is very rarely observed since. The majority of the time, the male lion will raise the old cubs as his own. Lioness will potentially reject a male who culls cubs, and ultimately they have the final say in wether or not a lion can join their pride.

That reminds me, I have a mate and all the pups want to play with him. He doesn't even have food, and they always go after him. Didn't take long, and their dad growled at them. Now, he ins't allowed to even play with the pups, until he learns his lesson. A few weeks later, he didn't even care about the pups.. The good news was, that the pups were following me now.. The bad news is, that he rarely ever helps me now.. But I always manage to get him to hunt. :D

I can confirm the fact that wolves adopt other males' pups. The alpha female of the pack i worked with, Luna, is 10 years old. She had a mate, Fang, introduced when she was two and he was her mate until 2017 when he died. Her eldest son, Onyx stepped in and essentially "adopted" his youngest sister, Rune. Unfortunately Onyx passed away a couple weeks ago, but its believed his brother Pepper will fill those shoes. Only time will tell!

You can't direct them to mark. You can command your mate to help with certain tasks in Slough Creek. You can invite them to join you on a hunting or territory-maintenance excursion by going to them and Whining. This will tell the mate to follow you on your sojourn. You can also use your secondary howl to ask your mate to join you, wherever you are on the map. If you out are on a hunting trip with your mate, you can also tell them to return to the den by Woofing at them.

i just bought the game yesterdayfor 30 dollars, sadly wasnt able to get it cheaper but id love to support this project anyway! My only problem is I had to frequently stop playing because it didn't tell me how to do much, and playing with a controller my wolf kept walking backwards and mostly the opposite of where I was moving the stick 0.0 Plus the simple bite looked like it never did any damage so i resorted to holding on and taking damage every bite when hunting elk for the first mission. its amazing how far this game has come, ive been playing it for 8 years and always thought it was the best wolf sim out there, sorry for leaving all this here, i dont know how to use the wolfquest forums or steam!!!! Keep up the goodwork!!!!

The current range of eye colors they have in the game is the only eye colors wolves can have. Any other colors would be unrealistic.

Plus it would open up a possibility of a blue-ish eye color if you decide to play as one? Your pups could be more prone to getting sick and may have more issues with hiding but that would be all part of the fun, right? A real challenge you could try and succeed at

This is quite realistic! What i think should also be included, is while hunting, you can send your mate after the targeted prey while your stamina catches up. This will be quite useful while hunting as your mate comes back to you while your trying to catch your breath. Can't wait for mobile!!! 😄🐺❤

i actually have an idea to continue off this: when you take your new mate to keep the pups, i think it would be cool for the pups to react differently to the new mate (i dont know how it works in the wild, since im not an expert, but its an idea) they could react differently, for example if one of your pups are more cautios, they would take their time to get to know the new mate, while a bold wolf would walk straight up to them i think it would give the pups more personality, since its probably inheritd by the parents
