That status has repeatedly been extended. The President, hopefully President Trump, can revoke that status making Haitians, rightfully, subject to deportation if they are not here legally.

They come in thousands every week for about two years here in florida I have seen many customers from Haiti asking to banks for a letter stating they have a bank account . We provide that and that is enough for them to bring family or friends when they in a matter of 2 weeks. when they come or call to the bank branch, they say we want the Biden letter to bring our family member. This people come with no visa. How ever.. people from other countries that. Want to visit the US, they have to wait over 1 year to get an appointment at. The us embassy in their country to request a visa....

But, more importantly, the Haitians in Springfield are LEGAL and WELCOMED to Springfield. Springfield needed employees, there was a population crisis there.
