There is absolutely no reason why he can't tell his wife the truth. He just couldn't be bothered for plot reasons, right? After all, there needs to be a misunderstanding. That being said, his behavior was inexcusable. He consistently indulged the mistress, the mistress' child and the sister when they were blatantly bullying his wife. He was consistently shifting the blame and accusing FL of making things difficult for him. Every time FL stood up for herself and refused to be bullied, he blamed her for causing trouble. Never once did this man accept the responsibility for the consequences of his own choices. It's always someone else's fault. This kind of man is trash. He can never change. He is a gas-lighter and a domestic abuser.

A better and more complete version the same earlier version. It was ludicrous for the Ml to bring another woman and her son into his and his wife's home for any reason! The Ml withheld information from the pregnant Fl, gave the other woman and son priority over her causing misunderstandings and distrust and reason for their divorce! The other woman showed classic Munchausen syndrome in keeping her son ill to keep the Ml close. The Ml showed no sincerity in getting his family back since he still allowed this woman to be at this side when the Fl returned after 3 years! I loved that the Fl had the love and support of her loving brothers. The handsome young doctor who taunted the Ml was hilarious. The Ml risked his life to save his daughter which somewhat redeemed him and maybe gave him a chance for forgiveness. Attractive cast, great storylines and good acting. Ww

It wasn't the marriage that was a disappointment. He was. The person you're married with and if you have children, should come first. Not a person and a child that are outsiders. Also trust is a must. He literally did everything wrong. Also being honest and tell would have solved a lot of problems. Also a promise is a promise and should be kept but not to all cost. But to be fair SFL is a evil and sick woman and would still do what she already did. Everything to have him for herself. So divorce is a safe way to keep FL from the danger SFL could have been. Also how can you ever trust a person who put others before you. What guarantee do you have that they won't do it again. Not worth trying.
