I'd like to take a music track and drive Pixel Sorter 2 to animate randomly to the beat. Has anyone done this or have an idea of the best way to go about doing so? Through expressions maybe?

This is really easy to do, once your track is imported into AE, right click on it to open Keyframe assistant, and then convert track to keyframe, this will create keyframes for every beat, from here, simply link the Pixel Sorter parameter you want to change to the keyframes of the beat of the music, adjust with expressions if needed and you got it. Be sure to share what you create.

Every project has a Shits folder containing most likely 10+ solids of the same color and size.

I actually do rename the "solids" layer to "shits". haha
