This is helpful, I've come back a few times. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to use a null to move objects together and then delete the null and somehow retain the keyframes from that null within the objects that were in it? Or alternately how to move objects together (say with a null) and then at a certain point have the null stop or end so that they are no longer linked to it within the same sequence. (I'm trying to animate many "drag and drop" kind of objects and reduce the number of layers and duplicates so it's less confusing. it seems to "put down" an object you have to duplicate it because a null is always and forever which seems really clunky... anyone have ideas?

Hello everybody, I have question about null object. I need to move different layers in my composition. But some layers are previously connected with a null objet. When i create a new null object for the same layers, the old link is break. Question : Can I use two nulls for on layers. Of cours if it's not possible, how can i get around the problem ? Thanks

It doesn’t, unfortunately. But you could place your layers into a Nested Sequence and control the that. That would be one way of controlling multiple layers at the same time

You can do that, but if you increase the scale of the precomp, you will start to lose quality. When you parent your videos to a null and increase the scale of the null, you can reduce the amount of quality you lose
