How do I do the effects because everytime i add satin or drop shadow, the wall (top part) shows shadow OVER THE DRIPS?

In case anyone else has this issue I found the solution by changing the "Spacing" under "Stroke" in the drips layer to 0%.

How do you stop the waving effect but keep the shape once it reaches the bottom?

He shows it all afterwards. He only copied that one so that he didn't have to go through trying to change the settings for the effects. He still shows the settings he used, so you're still getting the same info
