thank you sm for watching this tutorial, i hope it helped, if you are coming back here because yours is not working/does not look like mine, pls read below: 1) it only showed two dots and they don't connect - make sure you select your layer BEFORE clicking the pen tool, or else you will start a shape layer and instead of masking... it fills the layer with color... - precomposing your layer works better so i would recommend precomposing before masking! (shift + control + c) > check move all attributes into new comp..' - make sure you connect ALL the dots when masking, if you see a different colored dot appeared on your layer its because you misclicked somewhere and you start another mask, click u on your layer and delete 'mask 2', go back to where you left off, click the dot and hit g to contiune masking! -if you put twixtor in your clip, try precompose it again or else it wont work - when you finished your mask, it should ONLY show the masked area, if not please check if you have the above issues and fix them, also make sure you trim the bottom layer like i did BEFORE masking - i often alternate the hand tool (h) and pen tool (g) when masking, so that i can move the layer around and have a closer look 2) it doesnt give the option mask feather - go to your layer, hit f and the mask feather should show, change the value from 8-10 if you have any questions, dm me on my insta bradisgospel

you must have started a shape layer...make sure you click on the layer before starting to mask
