Paint is terribly terrific. He's not afraid to throw shots and even stir up some controversy for comedy. I was actually happy that he uploaded AEA3 because he had put himself on KZbin hiatus for more than a year. I think his second-most-recent video was a collab with Thomas Sanders about the demise of Vine.

I don't think that the Hercules bit was truly bashing Christianity proper, but that Herc & Greek mythology didn't like the New Guy stealing the religious spotlight. Other than the AEA series, my fave parody of his is the Boy Band Medley w/ Peter Hollens [another fantastic singer, along w/ his wife Evynne] For just mind-blowing vocals, check out Jon's cover of Stitches by Shawn Mendes. I don't even like the song that much, but daaaaaaaanngg...

Yeah exactly. If ya jump straight to "hes being mean to jeezus!" you miss an opportunity to imagine what the rise of christianity must have looked like to people who weren't interested in being converted. Said people are literally all dead, so there's no reason to worry about it, it's just interesting to think about.

They have confirmed they are making a Live Action Aladdin and Lion King, I would love to see a Live Action Hercules, but back in 2003 they did somewhat of a live-action Peter Pan. I don't believe it was Disney but there is a live action Peter Pan. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid

I love singing and musicals! So listening to his voice(s) really made me smile. Had to check out the original vid, though, so I could hear things better. So now, I dunno what to feel about his song.--well--songs. Creative, yes. Nice vocals, yes. I liked the political commentaries, felt awkward about the whole Peter Pan parts, and wasn't thrilled about the religious (or should I say non-religious) dig, and it's not just I'm Catholic. Like Sam, I don't feel comfortable with making fun of religions, not even for the sake of humor, in fact, ESPECIALLY not for the sake of humor. It's okay to have an opinion on religion, but not if one is either going to mean or be violent (with words or actions) about it, or to make fun of it. So basically, I'm not hurrying to click on his subscribe button. I am sure, though, that he's a very good artist.

the part with hercules is in his point of view (hercules) back in the old time before when peaple belived in the greek gods and hercules are mad that every one are starting to belive in some one ells inted of him (he is a part of the old greek religion) but i can still see why some one would take an offens to this every religion has flaws becuse every person has flaws and every religion was made buy humans so they will have flaws (if i tell you what to write in a book i dident write the book you did so if you belive in a religion im not saying that its not true im saying that it was made by humans even if god had some part behind the human that created it its still made buy a human and there fore it will have flaws) and its vary annoying to hear every one point out the flaws and then say that its fake yes i dont belive in a allmighty god but i can understand how annoying it most be when people point out the flaws over and over every one knows them and if you belive in a religion i hop that you dont belive 100% on the physical text and so on take every thing with a bit of salt god did not make the text so it will not be a 100%

Hi. Thank you for giving your opinion and in a polite way. Like I said, religious opinions are okay with me as long as people do it properly and not make fun of one's religion, whatever that religion is. While we should not be suppressed in terms of practicing freedom of speech, I think there should still be a line between being given constructive criticism and being insensitive. I do know about Greek Mythology. It's one of my favorite things. The thing is, it wasn't the Greek gods--be they true or not--that made fun of Jesus in the song. I am not a religious fanatic and I honestly haven't read much of the Bible. I'm just saying that religion is a sensitive issue and one should be sensitive enough, even if it's for art's sake. But I'm not about to--uh--raise hell about it. And the guy is really good at what he does, I will give him that. I could subscribe yet, who knows?

akasands You do realize everything he said is fact right? The romans originally followed the greek religion. What he is talking about in the video is a fact that happened when Christianity got made into the official religion by one of the emperors and it was treason to follow other religions. Jon is just stating facts in a fun way.
