Yeah. Sort of. It seems there are soooo many versions of the same drama. But, I've been enjoying Asian drama and rom/com for about six or more years now. The multiple 'same script drama' is only just now making me aware of them. But, I had tuned out of Master Copy Cat Hollywood and gladly followed S. Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and a few other Asian countries. Oh, and China. Even though I manage to run into a lot of different versions, I am still happy following this than hollywood. Yeah. The lack of capitalization is intentional. It's just my snotty five year old self showing its juvenile side. shrug. Sorry. But I'm entering my second childhood. Snicker. I'm allowed. Still, I'm enjoying, well, until I can't tell if it's a Chinese Drama or an American one. Just greatful that I have ROKU for access to diversity..

ROFLMBO!!! Not funny. Actually I thought I was watching a Chinese Drama. Well, I'm used to reading captions. So I was really into the drama before I even realized they were speaking English. Okay. I'm still following the Captions because ... that's what I do. But I was a little more into the drama when I realized that, although it's a Chinese Drama ... Obviously, because of their beautiful eyes, and a few other attributes. I love the sound of their spoken voice, and even though I don't understand the language, YET! I enjoy listening. But ... they are not just speaking in English, somehow the setting has moved from China to ... THE U.S. ??? !!! What happened? Major US cities are being named as current locations or destinations. I'm sorry, but I'm upset. I don't watch Chinese Dramas because I want to hear my native language, or hear about local places. I want to hear about Hong Kong, Beijing, or Chengdu. I love Chengdu (the song), and wish I could visit that place. sigh. LOL Yeah. I'm an old woman who always had Gypsy Blood and wanted to travel the world. Well, the closest I'll ever get is VIKI, Kocowa, Asian Crush, and a few other foreign networks. I have literally been coast to coast in the US, and even spent a day in Toronto, Canada. But since I was six I have had a fascination with the 'Orient' when my grand dad introduced me to Charlie Chen movies which were based on a real Chinaman, a Cop living in Hawaii, Chang Apana. Although I didn't learn about Chang until my mid-sixties, I have always had a fascination with the people of the Orient, Asia, or also known as that "Someplace Not Here". And some bright 'person?' has changed the language to English in America. OK. So, for lazy, unimaginative folk who watch Chinese Drama just for the story, and the beautiful eyes, you make these totally unnecessary changes. Perversians! Grrr! See, I don't just watch the dramas, I also research and read the Histories, the Legends, and the Myths. I also enjoy Chinese Historical Dramas and Rom/Coms .... when I can find them. Okay. I understand that Uploaders feel the need to cater to the ignorant masses. But, at least give us a warning before we get involved in the dramas. Then we can search for the 'real deal'.
