When I left Iraq and again from Afghanistan I did just like you did. People would talk about how dirty a city was or how the accommodations were not "American enough" but after I went through my time, I appreciated the modern things I once took for granted so much more. A large bath, marble flooring, the lack of dust on everything and room service all seems small but to me they were remarkable. For me, watching you in the hotel, I got the old feeling I battled with that, "I shouldn't be here. I should be with my buddies" It took me a few weeks to reacclimatize to "my world" and realize that my past adventures are just that... past adventures. When people slam Iraq or Afghanistan, I always ask, "So how long where you there?" Most of the time my point is made.

I love the way you film and share Dear Brooke. I never feel deprived or too much of anything, and I always want more. I found you about 2 weeks ago and started watching your latest with your build of the little cabin on your property. Now I’m going back and starting from the beginning because I want the whole story. I will also find and watch the ALONE episodes. You bring such grace, peacefulness, connectedness to source. I can honestly say I love you. My husband says you are my spirit human. With all my heart, thank you for you ♥️🤗

I was amazed you had the strength to sing like that after so much starvation and deprivation. Loved the scenes of Mongolia. So lovely and wild. Especially liked the horses. The landscape was much like parts of the Navajo Reservation my wife and I lived in in Arizona, truly sacred lands. Thanks for the insight and sharing.

Brooke you sang the most beautiful song I ever heard. You have sung from your heart all that you felt from your experience on Alone Season 5 Mongolia. What a wonderful experience you have had. So happy for you. You are a wonderful person with a beautiful soul and a “true” diehard. Thank you for sharing your entire experience. I would love to meet you some day, I wish I had the guts to do many of the things you do, but I am older now. Keep going girl. I’m sure you have a deeper appreciation for life. Will continue to follow you in your Channel. How lucky you were to meet Randy a real man’s man….take care.

Wow, what a wonderful video, from harsh landscape and unforgiving river not yielding fish, to luxury hotel, a traditional Mongolian program and a stunning contortionist, holy smokes, the vocal ability of the "singer/chant" was mesmerizing. All your videos are enjoyable & so down to earth with your sweet visits, but this one is golden! I might be a day late and a dollar short in viewing these "Alone" videos, it's like hitting a motherlode in a mine. All so special. Thank you Brooke Wipple!! 😊💚💙💞

Thanks for putting this together and sharing Brooke. I have eaten Cambium of a variety of trees, on most occasions I have made it into chips over a fire in an old frying pan. My Sami Ancestors made flour out of punky dry pine (probably Scots Pine). Very nice hotel...all ladies deserve this level of comfort and self-indulgence. What a fabulous concert and cultural presentation you attended, I would have loved to have been there. What beautiful people, the lady gymnast was unbelievable, I was convinced you would have joined her on the stage and shown her a few moves :) The throat singing was incredible, have you heard the Sami People singing their joik? Nice little song you ended your presentation with, a great adventure, despite its challenges for you in Mongolia. God Bless, WS
