Peas sound like a good idea to add to their diet as our fish more than likely eat more algae than you think out in the pond which helps with digestion, I have to get some more Northfin Veggie pellets as I ran out a few months ago, I think the kelp in it as the first ingredient is good for them, I'm also feeding a few times a week the fish fillets, they like them, I would say feed your fish like you did in this video for a few weeks to see if you notice any improvements, Thanks for the shoutout Chris!

Peas and shrimp, what a tasty combination. 🤣 I feed my koi as well as my bristlenose and spotted raphael catfish peas and cut up mussels and they all love it. A wonderful and healthy way to enhance their diet. No doubt your shubunkins and barbs will benefit from their new treats as well.

@stubbsaquatics6080 sounds good. Have you done a long-term review of the glowrium aquarium light yet? Mine have been doing great, and I did talk a few others into them now. One with an enginerding background who dismantles lights to verify build and component quality

The guy feeding the frozen peas is on to something. I feed peas a couple of times a week, if I remember. I use frozen shrimp and cut it in small chunks. I think my fish love shrimp day, they act like sharks.

Your beautiful fish certainly loved their new menu! I gave my minnows some peas a few weeks ago n they said they’d eat them if I took the skins off! They were true to their word! I wondered, as peas have a laxative effect, if it was sensible for me to serve them too frequently?! Of course my fish are minuscule compared to yours and I’m still feeling my way regarding feeding. I’m only used to aquatic invertebrates and they look after themselves, given all possible components of a balanced ecosystem. God bless you, Chris and have a peaceful Christmas 🙏✝️. ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️.🙋♀️🤍🇮🇱✌️

I feed mine frozen peas. I microwave mine for 30 or 40 seconds & then cool & peal the shell off. Wasn’t sure about can peas due to the salt content.
@gayefanner73114 күн бұрын
You may find there’s no salt anymore in tinned peas, as in England. I had to peel mine and even squish them for my White Clouds! ✌️

I always blanched frozen peas and sqeezed inside of the pea out into a dish I never fed the skin of the pea. My Orandas and Ryukin loved it. Love your shubunkins! Oh ya I also would presoak pellets to hopefully avoid Swim bladder.

That really takes me back to the 90s when we made our own "shrimp mix". Peas, spinnach, shrimp, beaf heart and algaes. It was great for ciclids. More green for Malawi and less for discus. But I am not too sure about canned products. Around here it contains way too much salt. We always mixed fresh products and freezed it. Great vid as always.😀👍

I normally would give them frozen peas but ran out and had one can of peas.. so I will definitely keep the sodium down. Fresh food is always the best

I had a Black Moor floating upside down, so I fed it mushed peas. Had to put it in an empty margarine container and feed the pea with a pipette because it couldn't control its movements enough to get to the food. Fixed the fishy right up. I've feed greens to goldfish ever since.
