CloudEnvy It's basically a guy's version of a soap opera. We all know at points that everything can't be as perfect as it seems, it seems very scripted at times. You can see it in games from phantom calls not getting instant replay to curry getting free throws for getting a finger on arm while dribbling. It's not the warriors aren't good, it's that the league office has set the playing field to lead them to succeed in most situations. Not Curry's fault that he's a marketing ploy in a billion dollar industry. I believe every American "professional" sport is staged, why not cut corners to maximize views? If games were fairly called you'd see most teams in both conferences lean around .500 . No matter how bad any professional sport team is, they are always able to compete once they their calls assessed on the same playing field. aka Adam Silver = Vince McMahon.

I didn't watch a single game of the playoffs this year but I saw enough to tell me that the NBA is still up to its old shenanigans when it comes to fixing basketball games. The NBA is clowning if it expects people to believe that 2 teams would come back 3-1 deficits to win their playoff series. There's this one game that I think was 2-3 years ago, it was hands down the most rigged ending to any NBA game. Lmao no joke, it was so rigged the NBA took the liberty of removing all ties of the video from appearing on KZbin. It was the Lakers vs The Timberwolves, last play of the game they missed the most obvious foul call to send a game into overtime. Ricky Rubio had went up and got both of his hands ripped down by Kobe Bryant. I remember seeing it on WSHH with the title as "Is this proof that the NBA is rigging games for the Lakers?" and thinking man this was a bad ending to what could've been a good game. I'm not sure if if you can still find the play on KZbin but you can definitely find Kobe's post game interview. I remember also that this was the year that they were purposely rigging games so that the Lakers get the 8th seed in the West. As fucked up as that sounds I believe that year they got swept by the Spurs, so yeah I guess the NBA got as much of the rating and money as they could've gotten out of that boring series.

Well, I try not to speculate too much on players throwing games since there's no way to really know. I also assume that David Stern was very, very cautious about going to that move and was mostly content to let the referees handle it. But Adam Silver is more of a risk taker, so who knows. I'll just say this: I don't know if the players had orders, but I saw some performances both in the Finals and elsewhere in this playoffs that were a little hard to believe.

I wouldn't say rigged but extended. The most egregious thing the league did was obviously was suspend Draymond for his altercation with Bron but yet he didn't get suspended from the OKC series and Adams was hit in the balls and it did look intentional imo. But, his altercation with LeBron was not worth a suspension or tech. LeBron initiated th whole thing by stepping over Dray's head and all they did was yap. It's game 4 of the NBA Finals, let their teammates pull them apart and keep it moving, shit. That was def a move to extend the series. A game 5 possible ass whopping and 4-1 series win for GS would be a letdown. A most highly anticipated rematch ends in a lopsided gentleman's sweep. Bron's legacy and the Cavs title hopes were on the line. So, they lobbied to get Dray suspended and it worked despite the Warriors best protests. What's funny is that at first the main thing Bron was mad about was the fact that Dray called him a bitch. He didn't even know about the supposed nut shot & had to be told about. Now, the only other thing I can get on the league for is the blatant missed 4 point plays or 3 free throws that GS should've gotten at least 10 times throughout the series and during those last 3 games. But, there were also missed calls for the Cavs. That's about as far as it goes tbh. The rest was simply basketball. Without Dray, the Warriors didn't have that defensive presence or heart and soul to rally against a focused LeBron determined to extend the series. They also didn't have that extra rim protector and rebounder. Because of this, Bogut was forced to play more mins than usual and Andre had to play more as well which was bad enough with a bum back. Bogut has a player pushed into his knee and is done for the season unfortunately not late enough in the game for the Warriors to sustain a decent lead. The Cavs exploit this weakness and began attacking the Warriors with their switching on defense. LeBron can basically play FS on defense because Harrison Barnes was ice cold and continued that way despite being wide open most times. He sat several 4th quarters out and he had missed some playoff time as well. Had he been healthy, the Warriors are probably the champs and KD is probably still in OKC. The last factor to consider also, is GS' bench not really doing much outside of game 1. Had they played a good game or even decent game in 1 other game or even 2, they probably win. There was no conspiracy to have the Cavs win. I simply think the plan was to extend the series when an opportunity was presented. People forget that the Warriors were the talk of the sports world for most of fall 2015-spring 2016, major sports cites were now clowning LeBron in favor of the Warriors and multiple reports came out about their being tension in the Cavs f.o. and lockeroom. Bron was not the the clear most popular and talked about player in basketball anymore. He was seriously competing with Steph and the Warriors as being the premier player on the premier team. Circumstance happened after Dray was suspended and Bron/Kyrie happened in final 3 games and here we are. The suspension is def fishy and bs but the rest was uncontrolled circumstance.

Now if you want to say they didn't have a predetermined winner, I disagree, but that would still be rigged because it changes the odds of the better team winning considerably because of the "any given Sunday" factor. And you're right about LeBron getting disrespectfully overshadowed by Steph, which is one of several reasons I was sure the Cavs would win. The NBA loves to do misdirections when rigging it's games. They hype someone up as unbeatable and makes them the favorites, then has them lose. It's a standard trick. Listening to ESPN and how they were hyping Curry and turning LeBron into chopped liver, the set-up was visible from a mile away.

I think this was the most watched finals series since MJ's 90s finals. The more audience the more betting, I think Vegas made the biggest NBA betting money of all time. When you think about it....okc 3-1, everybody betting against warriors, warriors win. Then they betting money on warriors and they choke in the finals. so what are your thoughts about this series now that it's over? the cavs had 25 freethrow attempts to warriors 13. That's a decent freethrow disparity especially considering a lot of phantom fouls on the warriors, for example the Shumpert/Curry third foul. Then in the second half it seemed like whenever the warriors got up by more than a couple points they called a foul on them and let the cavs shoot shots. I had the suspicion that cleveland might win the series because the most compelling overarching story is that lebron wins the ring in cleveland, against the best team in history. The entire story is the redemption ring. And what do you think about Curry's performance the whole post season?

+Jurka Durkan Give or take a couple of surprises, it went how I had expected it to. I knew the Cavs would win, but I didn't expect such a ragtag series so boring to watch. I think Steph's subpar play was half due to the sudden change in officiating he experienced and half due to him probably being injured. Steph was never super duper fast, but he usually zips around. TheRiggedBA- you mostly prove that you are knowledgeable of the game and usually have facts to back up reasonable claims but I think you're wrong on this one. Steph curry shoots the three really well and as you well know that is the hardest skillset in the NBA. The 3 pointer is the most inconsistent shot in the NBA. This is why the rockets will probably get exposed in the playoffs.Your shot can be off at anytime and teams usually limit your best ability in the playoffs. The problem is he doesn't really offer much else besides his incredible shooting and he was forced to exert a lot of energy guarding Kyrie when the cavs kept switching on defense. Curry's injury may have hampered him but it isn't an excuse considering his 2015 finals weren't impressive considering he lost out in finals MVP to a role player considering that his main defender was a combination of Delly, Tristan Thompson. And jr Smith. Also, here is a word of advise: what makes your content so great is that you usually have evidence and footage of claims that you make. However, when you say Lebron made a deal with the higher ups to go back to Cleveland is totally false. He had to carry a load in Miami full of old players and bloated contracts and he realized that wasn't what he came to Miami for in the first place. Also your claim of Jordan being described as untouchable and godlike in the media is true, however you contradict yourself when you say that the league rigged Lebron's win against the 73-9 warriors. Why would the NBA help Lebron beat the greatest regular season team of all time if they want to push the notion that nobody could ever be like mike?
