After Oppenheimer: The Most Nuked Place On Earth

After the success Oppenheimer and the Trinity Test, a vast majority of nuclear research conducted by the United States happened at the secretive Nevada Proving Grounds, also known as the Nevada Test Site. Co-located with Area 51, it would be the premier location for the most powerful technologies developed during the Cold War.

As a kid born in the late 50’s, I was the only kid I knew, besides my siblings that grew up with a fallout shelter in my backyard. We would have conversations as a family about what the earth would look like if we were to survive a nuclear attack. Big stuff for a little kid, but my dad was all about being proactive. Thank you for the content. It’s important to know our history.

Hawthorne NV "used to be" the largest Nuke depot on the planet. You can see the amazing number of bunkers in the valley on Google Earth. You should swing by the museum while you are up there.

This is a fantastic video. Hopefully the KZbin algorithm will pick up the video length and start recommending it to more people. As your videos accumulate more views, you should start looking at your KZbin analytics to see what parts of the video people tend to drop off at and see if there are things you can do to increase the time the average viewer watches the video. Eg, why didn't you put the Atomic Annie video into your video?
