The infinite mana part is fair but I don’t like how abilities have cooldown tbh, mana is already so hard to get anyway. No cooldown makes for so much combo potential.

Ngl I used the glitch to breeze through chapter 2 and most of chapter 3 so I got a good use out of it. They should implement a cheat menu that a user can modify so they can actually enjoy the game the way they want to

I feel you bro. I purposely canceled the update manually on my PS5, and was on towards Buddha’s right hand, and suddenly I was notified my game was updated. Am so pissed and confused why it updated by itself when I made sure to cancel the patch. Saw so many short clips on tiktok about players struggling with erlang or great sage’s broken shell and am damn 🫠 now.

It’s not online, there’s no reason for this patch regarding the glitch. The glitch is user choice. The LAG is dev responsibility. They fixed what we can’t do but didn’t improve the frame pacing nor lag. So weird. I’ve got a car, that from the store had a certain set HP…. I’ve turned off their restrictions and now use the FULL potential of the engine. It’s MY choice and freedoms to do as such. When someone makes you a meal, and says “you can’t eat it with a fork I intended it to be eaten with a spoon”, it doesn’t matter once it’s cooked, it’s the persons CHOICE how to eat it. Game devs need to realize, we can choose to use or not, the glitch. But the frame pacing and lag I don’t control…. I control me: use the glitch or not. They control performance: they updated my choice. Makes sense? Once the game is in MY hands and it’s offline, it’s NON of their business how I play it. Devs used to honor this (they’d leave hidden god modes in games to discover!) … Fix the frame pacing and input lag and dithering…. Nope, they focused on my play-style, which, they’ve no need to do. Good game tho.

You've got some points there. It would have been really based if they turned the glitch into like a cheat code or stat page where you can make the game easier. However the game is really fun when you beat that boss that's had you stuck.

I get where they’re coming from I do but the end of the day this isn’t really hurting the game experience when people chose not too. For me as an example I perfected the game, got the platinum and now I’m having fun with this glitch cause to me this is a lore accurate character now. Let me be able to wreck everything, I’m not invincible I can still lose and die with this even to make things a lot harder I have that one spirit that gives me 40+ attack with him BUT it takes away all of my defense (my defense is literally a zero lol) and I’m having a blast with it even tho I’m getting one shotted by bosses and enemies

I find that a higher level doesn't really do much when it comes to fighting bosses. At least not the last one. I went from lvl 80 to 150 with this farm, I got all the skills I needed and......I still can't beat him. In fact, I make as little damage as I did before, while he does just as much damage as always despite my higher stats. I might as well not have bothered. You could be lvl 300 and it would make no difference. You'd still have to get good...

It’s 100% offline, so any use of the glitch is solely the responsibility of the user. It affects no one and if the user is satisfied with the glitch it actually disincentivizes them. If it was online and abusing the glitch created an unfair-advantage, patch it. But if it’s 100% offline… keep the glitch and focus on the frame pacing and lag issues. I play this offline too! Like old school days. Contra!!!!!!!!! Up up down down…. Nope we patched it cause screw you!

Sucks the mana glitch is gone but we all knew it would happen but not this soon but update the game once I 100 the game then have no reason to be sad with glitch gone. Yes it was great for people who really didn't have time to play it like speed running or wasn't really good at playing the game like me for example I suck at these types of games now because it's gone gives people the reason to improve at it. till game gets more content than I'll come back to it.

I beat this game without the glitch and I must say,this glitch gives us lore accurate Wukong and with it,it makes the game much more fun to play. If you have a problem with the glitch,you don’t have to use it. You could legit turn it off willingly and ply the game how you please.

The issue for me is, I chose to use or not the glitch. I don’t/didnt chose to have the game made having frame-pacing issues, dither and lag of control press to screen action. That is the responsibility of the devs. They chose to “fix” my choices (no more glitch for you!) but they didn’t address the pacing or lag issues, which is their responsibility. It’s a 100% offline game, so use of glitch or not affects no one but the user. You like the glitch? Use it. You don’t like the glitch, don’t use it. You don’t like frame pacing and lag issues?, we don’t care, don’t use the glitch! There’s a difference. The end user has the right to use and play the game as they see fit, if offline, it affects no one but themself. Lag, affects everyone who plays, online or off. Make the game great in all modes before you worry about glitches. Since video games existed glitches also existed, it’s part of the process. To use them or not is the end user choice. Like a car…. It can go 120mph, yet you chose to drive it reasonably 70-75mph… yet the full potential is always there… they just removed part of the full-potential for some. Good game tho.

Question? knowing that the mana glitch would be nerfed, I turned off auto updates 2 days ago. Would the glitch still work since it’s not updated? EDIT: glitch still works for me on ps5. Better to turn off the internet setting because the game will try to sneakily install the updated version!

If you are using PS5 then you gotta try in game. I off my auto update but the game got updated anyways.. I think the only way is to disconnect it from the internet

Yesir. I turned on my ps5 and the update is literally 1 second from finishing for me but I paused it before it could finish and turned off internet and the glitch stil works for me lol

Ps5 developer will able to update the game to those who purchased it. It happened to me im chapter 4. I turned off all auto updates...i turned off my ps5. When i got home from work..turned on my ps5. I got noted that wukong is updated to 1.08 eventhought all auto updates were turned off. Wack. I only used the glitch on certain bosses i cant pass. Now i have to work my way in chapter 4 and know each dam bosses mechanics to beat them fools. Its so stupid its a single player not multi player online. If thats the case then why not ps5 developer input a difficult settings mode from beginner to expert hkw other games have. Difficulty settings mode. This freaking game is really hard on certain bosses. Why spend 50 times to kill one certain boss(es)..ya know.....

as someone who likes using glitches i understand y’all’s frustration but straight up admitting you wouldn’t play this game without having any difficulty at all is insane at least try and get good before you beat the game the first time i was wanting to to beat the game legit before i even used the glitch on main bosses i get it to each their own but its a lil bit of a pussy move to kill everyone easily and refuse to try to get good it’s sad
