Insulting kotelnicki for having a creative offense alleging that they need to do that because they can’t compete with a straight up vanilla offense is wild. His track record speaks to his success as an OC. He’s not a gimmick.

Ohio State definitely has the athletes to prevent the tight ends from going off if they maintain discipline and don’t fall for the eye candy.

Locke had to throw in under 2.5 sec… that’s part of the reason he didn’t throw well. Also, the DBs had something to do with several of those Wisky ‘drops’. PSU is not a sack team this year… it’s D line pressures the QB while stuffing the run. In OSU’s footage, I’ve seen your DE’s go so wide that the NE RBs we’re seeing huge holes to run through.

Thanks for your insights. If you have access to the data, I would look at the release time for each Penn State opponent QB. Thus the sack numbers are low.

PSU fan but not an Ohio State hater by any means. Andy K is a genius. He does the motion and different looks because it works...BETTER. Why wouldn't you confuse the defense and cause conflicts? If we had him last year calling plays we most likely win the National Championship. We were vanilla last year with 0 creativity. I wouldn't want to plan for this offense. Optimistic but not overly optimistic. It's going to be a great game by 2 potentially great teams....Neither has played lights out for entire games. PSU has started slowly which they can't do against Ohio State. PSU D line vs Ohio State 0 line is the biggest mismatch. And we can't give up any big plays to the talented WR's. Best of luck. Hey we don't have cheating Michigan to worry about this year...

Glad I watched this so I know I’ll be watching a world-class team play a .500 pushover. Penn state can’t run, throw, or defend, and Ohio’s weaknesses on film are a non-issue! I had no idea! Ohio by 90 🤷🏼♂️

KJ Jr got hurt 2nd game and he’s a 1st round pick, Penn state is the best 2nd half team on paper and get pressure on the qb. Will Howard throws 28% while under pressure. Zane Durant is probably the best player on the dline for psu. Also kotelnicky schemes open players which upped allars passing to 71%
@ericholmes71439 сағат бұрын
A little misleading on the rushing yards, although there is a benefit to Pribula. PSU has rushed way better in the second half of games even without Pribula. Definitely a second half team this year...but wish we were a first half and second half team 🙂

Buckeye fans never change. We're either going to win by 50 or lose by 50. Urban Meyer got blown out by Iowa and Purdue. Shut out by Clemson. Multiple losses to Michigan State. Only 2 playoff wins. Yeah, he beat Michigan but so did everyone else. The team is fine. Day is doing a good job. The players have to do their assignments and win their matchups on Saturday.
@MikeMcgrath-yr7ge12 сағат бұрын
Buckeyes are going to be ready this week! They want it, you can feel it. I would like to see some upperclassmen show leadership and take this team over. The coaches can only do so much; as Urban used to say the players at some point have to take ownership. Kick the damn coaches out of the room and have a players only meeting and lay it on the line.

Wisconsin ate Penn State up in the passing game.While this game matters to us even if we win by 14 everyone else will denigrate the win against an "average" PSU team.

The only thing Wisc Off did well in passing game was protection. No sacks by Penn State which is unusual.

We haven’t gotten many sacks this year in general. But we do get a lot of pressure. Every QB we have played so far has purposefully gotten the ball out very quickly.

Not that surprising. Penn State's DTs are bums. The ends just are good at getting home usually

I think everything koltinicki has put on tape, especially with Typer Warren, has been to set other things up off of it. This will be the week it has to pay off for them to have a shot. Would certainly not pick penn state, but this is the least intimidating ohio state team in many years. Which, is sorta wild because the talent is absurd. J.T Tuimoloa( spelling i know) still lives rent free in my head lmao
@whodat4u2213 сағат бұрын
If Aller starts u have a QB that throws pretty good but has a wounded leg. The other QB can run but doesn’t throw as well. The go to guy is #44. The RBs are pretty good. I would guess the Buckeyes would go with a 4-3 in hopes to stop the run, especially if the backup QB starts.

Both are good teams, both have some issues, OSU has the recent advantage obviously in getting it done. Wildcard? The last time PSU won, Trump won. What the hell does that mean? Probably nothing but with two good teams, eventually one team loses. Osu might be due to lose, even though "due" isn't a thing.

Penn St has a great tight end. Bottle him up, and they are pretty impotent.
@user-tz2zz5ij1s23 сағат бұрын
We don’t really know who Penn State is because they haven’t played a contender yet. Every year we go through this with Penn State. They collect a bunch of wins playing mediocre teams, then lose once they play a real contender.
@earlschandelmeier75119 сағат бұрын
You're literally talking about 99% of teams not Alabama Georgia and OSU. And now that those three can't stack 5 stars behind each other on the depth chart every year we are starting to see college football change for the better.
@user-tz2zz5ij1s16 сағат бұрын
@@earlschandelmeier751Ohio State hasn’t beaten a ranked team. The B1G is just soft. No one cares about stacking talent, that has nothing to do with soft schedules. Stay on topic if you want to debate.
@JM-wf2to15 сағат бұрын
@@user-tz2zz5ij1sJesus man, not everything is binary. You want him to stay on topic to debate and you can't even comprehend what he said to debate it....He is correct that the overwhelming majority of teams don't beat top 5 teams on any sort of regular basis. He is also correct that the talent depth is lessening with recent changes in college football and that is directly relevant to his first point. Now, you are also correct that Penn State does this every year. I watch every PSU game as a PSU fan and all year it's been ,ya they'll win cause the opponent isn't top 5-10. Now, it's ya they'll lose cause the opponent is. Ohio state is better. I know that, but God damnit some time they'll catch them on an off week again! Maybe. Won't put money on it
@user-tz2zz5ij1s12 сағат бұрын
@@JM-wf2toJesus man, stay on topic. Anyone in the top 15 can be considered a contender. 12 teams have a chance. If PSU loses, their resume is super weak. Point at their the schedule if they lose to Ohio State and say that’s the signature win. Penn States schedule is soft, just like before. They beat unranked teams then lose when they play a top 10 team. We’ve seen this story before bud.
