it's a joke 'cause pro-choice people will use wordcraft to make it seem like they are not sacrificing a child on the altar of convenience and time. They say their child is tumor that belongs to them. The glaring difference is, anyone outside a doctor office removing it will serve prison time. So, once a someone comes to the (rational) conclusion that child /= mother, it lands as rationally as the left genetically stereotyping to stop genetic stereotyping. At the same time the left cannot attack their own slogan in an instance it truly applies. No studies or common sense have shown that masks do anything to prevent spread (not even 3). No vaccine prevents spread, and for some reason people lose their minds to live with the fact that there is no precaution you can take to keep yourself from getting a virus even half the deer have. Roe overturned just mean the states pick laws individually, I don't understand the left always lobbying for Big Brother and acting like they hate it. Just admit you want more government control, more big pharma, move on.

@wcg1989. Your comment just drives home the point that when it comes to abortion, the utter lack of education on the subject is astonishing. The ONLY reason a woman would NEED a termination of a late term pregnancy is purely for life threatening reasons. No woman would casually decide to terminate a pregnancy at that point, nor would anyone perform it. But by all means, continue to promote that it should be illegal, thereby ensuring the probable death of the mother. And you call yourself pro-life? If you are going to take a stance on something, at least EDUCATE yourself on all the complexities involved. Terminating a pregnancy is NOT a cut and dried matter.

@@wcg19891 Hey dummy. Roe vs Wade banned abortions after 23 weeks. All Democrats and progressives are seeking to accomplish is to keep that same standard in place Roe or no Roe. A politician who doesn't judge people for not voting for her party. You wouldn't, would you, because that takes courage. Hillary Clinton, despite her many faults, had the courage to call Trump supporters what they are. A bag of deplorables. People got their panties in a twist over that, but January 6 2021 proved she was spot on with that characterisation. Hillary Clinton was right about Trump, and his deplorables.

It was a "basket of deplorables," and Hillary severely misjudged what a BIG basket it was. It was an utterly tone-deaf thing to say, but I don't think it cost her the election. The media attention to Trump and his antics cost her the election (having already eclipsed legitimate Republican candidates). And it's going to happen again. The media chooses our candidates LONG before we ever even get to vote.

Instead all 5 republicans plugged more and more fossil fuel production and export. all thought such an effort would reduce prices at the bowser seemingly in willful blind ignorance of the fact markets and OPEC set oil and gas prices. At the same time the coal price is tanking as countries move more and more to renewables - the cheapest form of energy. The founding fathers of the USA warned us about a 2-party system, and said we should try to prevent such a thing. George Washington said, “The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism.” Then, nobody *did* anything to prevent 2-party politics. The "suggestion" is to implement proportional representation, like most successful democracies around the world, and *teach people to vote* A big part of Republican propaganda is to tell people the government doesn't represent them. Well, if all the grown-ups voted that story wouldn't hold up for long. I've heard that Costa Rica allows a communist party, and they can't claim to represent any silent majority because more than 85% of the voters vote, and the commies got about 1 or 2% of the vote. They took their one seat in the legislature and didn't make trouble. If they ever get too few votes, they're out entirely. I've also heard that the time *only* 85% of them voted on a presidential election, the new president told them that was a disgrace.
