Thankyou for being so real, your videos have inspired me to reset my life and do what I’ve always wanted to do - fashion design/sewing. I’ve always gone around this and done something else instead out of fear, I think it comes down to what others are going to think of me but I finally want to stop caring what others think and just do what I want to do, what makes me happy. I also love the way you create your videos, I noticed this time you spoke. I find it really refreshing and inspiring to see you use KZbin this way, speaking or no speaking, without always having a face to the camera, the content you have in your videos are amazing and it’s just nice to see a KZbin that’s a bit different to the mainstream of talking to the camera all the time. I have wanted to start a KZbin channel for a while but not wanting to show my face and you have shown a way that this possible. Thankyou so much for creating your videos, they are really helping me and I’m sure they are helping others. I also suffer mental health and the hardest thing is losing joy in the things that would usually bring you small flows of happiness. It’s difficult but I would like to say to you that you are doing extraordinary keeping up with a small business and platforms such as KZbin and I hope you give yourself permission to pay yourself on the back and see all you have managed to do so far. Take care 😊

I'm thinking about starting a clothing business because the jobs I've been having just don't add anything to my life and drain my energy. I've been watching you for the past couple hours and let me say you have done wonderful things and should be very proud of yourself. I'm going to take a leap and buy an embroidery machine and digitize my designs I've been drawing for months now. Might have to let a few bills fall behind but it costs to pursue your passion and that's what I got from you so thank you.

Make money to invest in your own business. It's not good at all to have debts. They might be like the little snowball that becomes bigger over time as it goes down the mountain. Be money smart, that's how every single rich person have become rich. They used every dime wisely!

Let me just say something, even though, I don’t know if you’re going to read this (btw English is not my first language so I’m really sorry if I say something wrong) I’m working on my small business… I started this year. Ever since it’s having been a roller coaster. But every time I watch your videos I feel like I can breathe again. It feels like everybody is better than you on Internet or are faking having problems to call attention. Here I feel like you’re so real. So honest. Many times I had a bad moment but then I remembered of your videos and could keep going. So thank you so much. You’re a important part in my business. You’re a gift from God. I believe in you and I wish the best. A lot’s of love from Brazil!

I honestly really appreciate how you keep it real in your videos. It's a really nice change of pace from everyone who make studio vlogs that are only ever positive all the time because that feels fake and unrealistic. The reality of owning a small business is not all unicorns and rainbows all the time and a lot of us know that first hand so it feels good to feel seen through your videos and the experiences you share. That being said, you are being very hard on yourself in a lot of your videos and it's nice that you are now acknowledging that and trying to keep yourself in check from spiralling too far into negative self-deprecation. What you have built in a few years is really admirable and I personally really look up to it as an inspiration for eventually building my own apparel brand. I'm sure I'm not the only person you have inspired to keep going despite the self-doubt and the recurrent feelings of being a failure, so just know that what you do matters and creates positive change for the people around you and lots of us are cheering you on as you go on your journey. Thank you for what you do and for being you. Now keep on slaying girl! ;)

Thank you so much for this video. It''s good when others show the realistic side of what happens behind the scenes in running, starting, and maintaining a small business. We all get tired and may lose interest. Showing up every day to make content, create videos, etc. is time-consuming and daunting at times, but we must push through. You inspired me to keep pushing and that it's not bad to ask for help, relax and chill sometimes. You got this.

I've heard some people use tender touch stabilizer for baby and kid's clothes, maybe something like that would help with the tighter fitting shirts too? I think it gets ironed over the embroidery on the inside so there's another layer between the body and the embroidery itself. I always love seeing a new video from you. I really appreciate that you talk about both the ups and downs of the business, it really helps with the idea that everything should be perfect all the time. So many people only show the successful things and that can make hitting a rough part in your own journey feel like a much bigger problem than it really is. Also, thanks for showing the back of your embroidery! I've watched so many videos that only ever show the front, so I had no idea if my own embroidery looked right or not!

Whats super funny is I literally looked up your channel last night and binged watched you. ( You're one of my inspirations to start my small business). And I was like "hmmm wonder when a new video will come out?" And I get on my phone at work while I wait to clock in, and bam. A new video from you! Yay! 🖤🖤🖤

I use cutaway mesh as a T-shirt backing and Tender touch over the Stitches on the inside. It irons on and fuses to the inside over your embroidery stitches to protect skin specially on baby garments. It comes in black and white. So I use the black cutaway mesh and black soft backing on shirts or items to protect from irritation. If you wear it do t tear it. That’s the rule for backings. Use cut away on items that you will wear. Cutaway mesh is good for items that move like T shirts and thinner materials. Not heavy cut away.

Where has your voice been girl?!?!! I was wondering why you were only doing text but then realized it may be for the same reason I didn't want to use my voice and only do text. I don't really like my voice but others may find it pleasing. Thank you for helping me with that. Running a small business can be a struggle ... all the time :) However, one thing that has helped me is this. We are trying to get from A-Z. All the alphabets in between A-Z are problems with solutions and we just have to find the solution. Keep up the great work. Absolutely love your channel!!!!

You know what, this is the first time Iv really encountered anyone with such an open heart. This gives me inspiration to keep going. I started my business last year, didn’t get fully set up until really September time, things have been up and down but I think subconsciously I know what I beed to do, but from everything I have seen and even this video, it has confirmed to me what I need to do. I actually got into skateboarding and designing graphics as a way of dealing with my mental health issues, and as time went on a business developed out of it. Even though I’m not exactly where I want to be right now, I’m still very grateful for where I am. I just know Iv been getting signs from the universe in different ways (such as this video) telling me, that what I am thinking subconsciously is affirming to me what I need to do. To really excel. So thank you for your so warm hearted video. You a very positive, out going and I can tell you have a kind soul! I know, instinctively that in reality, the reason things are so difficult and take time is because it builds our character, and shapes who we are. Why would anything be fun if everything took off immediately and we got everything we wanted? I’m starting to realise that effort, does get rewarded. We manifest what we desire through our thoughts and actions. And I felt I really needed to see this. A way to go, but this has really confirmed to me, many things. Much love from across the sea! ❤️

Hey! I like your videos everytime you post! It's therapeutic for me! 😁 Thanks for all the advises at the end of the video! I like what you said " you're not lazy, you just need to change the way your room looks like" i always think that I'm lazy and that I'm not productive when I'm resting so sometimes I'm pushing myself to much but in reality i'm actually burning out myself more..😅 I wanted to share this technic when you felt that you are not productive, do something different like going to gym/ exercise or etc. Then after you did it, shower with cold water , you will feel alive after that! 😁 It works every single time! And it's good for our body as well, lot's of benefits! Waiting for your next video!

Thank you so much for the well put together video. I went through a long season of artistic burnout and am in the process of healing my inner artist. I find that as a musician my musical ideas just aren't flowing the way they used to. Not effortlessly like you mentioned in the video. But when it comes to other art especially as it applies to fashion and embroidery, I seem so much more inspired. I don't know why. I've always wanted to design my own t-shirts and clothes but I feel like my drawing skills just aren't good enough to sell things

I love this style of video 🥰 I won't lie, after a few of your previous videos I felt quite sad and almost wanted to unsubscribe / unfollow you as KZbin is a place of escape for me from all the sadness, so I like my content to be happier to help me forget about the sadness, but seeing that you've acknowledged that and are making changes to your content and work flow is wonderful! It's okay to feel sad, however I had so many worries that it was becoming part of your brand when I'd notice you post about how a tiktok didn't go as viral as you wanted or how orders were slow for you especially as someone with a small business myself who likely gets what you do in a week all year, good karma brings good things, putting more happiness into the universe will give you more happiness, I hope your content continues to have a positive flow to it, it really helps our impression of you and your brand 💕

Hello! I have been subscribed to your channel since last year and you have been my inspiration to build my own business someday. I think this is the first time I have ever posted a comment on your channel, I think. But I just want to let you know that you are not alone and thank you for sharing your struggles because it also made me feel that I am not alone as well. I am a video editor, I started working as a video editor professionally since end of January this year. It has been my dream job and I am always grateful for my client because they have seen my talent and potential. I was so passionate when I started working with them. Months later, I also experienced the same struggle. I got burnt out, less motivated for doing the same routine daily, I got easily distracted, procrastinated many times, and most especially I felt like I have experienced creative block. Just like you said in your video, I have also stared at my screen for hours no creative ideas i could think of. I’m just glad that I was able to find new ways on how I could stay focused. I was doing the Pomodoro method where I set a timer 50mins focus and 10mins break. I also keep my other device playing a video of “work with me” or “study with me” as I get motivated when I see someone who is motivated. 😊
