#AskWendy Hey Wendy. How you Doin'? I'm in a bit of a situation. I'm 25 years old, have an honours degree and a stable job. I have been dating my Boyfriend for 5 years going on 6. Back in 2011 we wanted to get married but his mom wouldn't let us. Even though she hasn't said it out loud, she has made it clear that she doesn't like me. That didn't stop us from loving each other and in 2013, we welcomed our lil Girl into this world who's now 2. He has told me that he doesn't want any more kids until we are married(which is understandable) but his mom still hasn't come around. Now things aren't so great between me and my boyfriend anymore because I just feel like he's too scared to stand up to his mom and we have to put our lives on hold because of her. I've asked him to move out of the house(which he did) because I needed him to figure out what it is he wanted. However now I just feel like I can carry on with my life without him but I feel awfully terrible for our daughter. I don't want her to be raised in a broken family. What should I do?
