I'm trying to avoid making any assumptions here, but watching it, it did *appear* as if Alaska was taken aback with Sharon's remarks about the break-up? (Maybe she wasn't, this was just how i interpreted it btw...) I don't think there was much more too it - i personally just believe she was caught a little off guard because of the level of honesty from Sharon, and like 'uhh this is my show where are you going with this' sort of thing haha It was pretty heartening to hear Sharon's thoughts though, it sounded like she's in a really good, balanced place and only wants the best for someone who still has a bond with/understandable affection for. Don't think there's anything more to it than that, and I'm glad their able to find their feet and with a new-style working/personal relationship. S'all good! P.s. I know this video is from a long time ago but it seems Sharon wasn't over the break up as much as Alaska was. I detect an ego in the relationship from Sharon's end, it looked hard for Alaska to get a word in. Sharon likes to talk to Alaska, not with Alaska. IMO, the way Sharon overly complimented Alaska came out of nowhere and could be taken as back handed (subconscious reads). You can tell Alaska was on to it which is why the subject was awkwardly changed. I noticed this a lot during Sharon's interviews when she mentions Alaska during this time period. Now, I just miss seeing Sharon, it's like she disappeared in the new flock of Drag Race queens. At least Alaska has Race Chasers for her online audience.
