The thing that warms my heart is how Sharon has spoken a lot about how their breakup broke their fans' hearts but really, this is so much more powerful than that. This is showing people that no matter how hard shit gets and no matter how bad life can get, you can push through and overcome that. You don't have to lose the people that you love, you just have do adjust that love and change it into something else. This is showing us that there is a weirdo out there for us, whether a lover or a friend, and that that's okay. So kudos for Sharon being happy again and continuing to be the queen of queens, for Alaska to have become such a force of nature and for their maturity in overcoming their moments of pain. That's true friendship right there, and it's really fucking beautiful.
