These comments are silly. She's not saying screw doctors. She's saying -- a lot of doctors won't diagnose Lyme correctly and will say you're crazy, and you have to be your own advocate for your health. Second, there are lots of treatment options, so again, you need to be your own advocate and stick up for what you feel is working for your body.

@Breets-sadly, I think there’s a gender bias in medicine as well. The medical community just doesn’t put a lot of women’s illnesses as a priority or think they need to be taken seriously, so there’s a reason why it’s taking so long to generate serious interest in figuring out causes and accurate treatments (i.e. fibromyalgia, which affects mainly women)😔

She was being a preach and trying to scold south american worker who cant speak english but tried to understand since she moved to the us and started from scratch by her own. But season after season she keeps scolding other people more and more, and with her partial attitude towards other cast members but acts like she is better than others (not really) and says some racist bullshit and tries to brush it off as some European custom. I had a chance to be a dresser for La Bruni on an editorial shoot when I was a young girl starting out in the fashion industry as an assistant editor, she is a goddess and such a graceful individual. It's great to see Yolanda also, she looks amazing! There's something about having stripped away the artifice of the typical Beverly Hills look that really allows her beauty to shine through. Congrats to her on her healing; I have seen friends here in Europe suffer with Lyme and was always surprised to see that the disease is such a mystery in the United States. She's definitely done good work on behalf of awareness for it.

I'm pretty sure that is what she did. We are programmed to go to the doctor when we are sick. And for anyone who is new to being chronically sick, you don't realize that what you are going through is a chronic illness when it first starts happening. It's when the symptoms don't go away, get worse, or you keep getting additional problems than what you started with that you eventually learn to do research because you aren't getting anywhere with the doctors.

@@mayemcdonald9111 Then you ARE left to advocate for yourself all the time feeling sick, not sleeping well, and finding help elsewhere. Many doctors male and female gas light women. They just don’t believe we’re possibly very sick or in life threatening pain. They instead think we’re being dramatic. As a result, instead of getting a proper differential diagnosis, we’re brushed off. It really hurts.

David Foster wouldn't know what real love is if it smacked him in the face. Real love takes the good with bad. A real, genuine marriage rides the waves. Mr Foster like alot of men and women mistake lust for love. They dive in without taking the time to get to know one another properly. Then when their marriages hit there first hurdle they're off. Need I say more.

You should know that you did your husband such a great service by not only being there for him, but wanting to be close, and staying with him through and through. Nothing is worse for anyone who is struggling with an illness, than their partner leaving. That adds mental stress to the physical stress, where it becomes almost unbearable. Anyone can get sick at any point, and it is so great to read that there are people who will not only stay, but be of such great support and pour their love into the person. Thank you.

No one knows your own body or mind but you. Trust your own instinct. All power to Yolanda for taking ownership of her health and getting her life back on track. I Love her and her energy. Loved the way She used to Stick up for Brandi and yet call her out when She was wrong. I wish her the best in life in Love & health. Really like Carla's energy. So chill and positive and knows her own mind

I disagree with you on one thing, I think wedding vows should be first and foremost for a marriage. He promised in sickness and in health. My husband of 38 yrs has spent 34 of our yrs together taking care of me. A man or woman that runs when times are hard is a coward and weak. On the plus side you glow. I'm so happy to hear you are doing better.

Of course the antibiotics didn't work for her she was being poisoned by her implants. As soon as they were removed from the equation she started getting better. I think she can be dangerous when discussing her illness. It's not fact it's her feeling. I worry that people try to take her approach and don't get the medical treatment they need.
@reidxo

addy kelly she should be talking about the dangers of breast implants and how they affected her. This interview she didnt mention that but stated she had many other treatments throughout those 6 yrs. i feel like she excludes things that should be talked about because it might help people more to know that removing breast implants can seriously help with making you feel better.
@ksealy4
@ksealy4 6 жыл бұрын
I don’t think she’s dangerous at all. Do you know someone chronically ill? It is the absolute worse thing to witness or go through. Yolanda went down the conventional route, went to every doctor and did every treatment they recommended and it didn’t work, she became even more sick. Please don’t tell me if you were in her situation you wouldn’t fight tooth and nail to get your health back . She is lucky she could afford to travel and try new treatments many of us could never do that. She’s a damn health hero.
@VanessasDailyJournal
@VanessasDailyJournal 5 жыл бұрын
I've never watched her show, but I have come across various discussions about it on the Internet. And I was in a very similar situation as Yolanda. Conventional doctors were only making me worse. I never had breast implants. But I took too many antibiotics throughout my life, and no doctor put two and two together that my immune system went haywire because of being prescribed too many antibiotics. It wasn't until two years after I became allergic to nearly everything that I got my first cavities. Therefore, six years into being chronically sick from taking too many antibiotics and being allergic to nearly everything, and being malnourished because my digestive system was so ruined that I could not properly breakdown and absorb the food, so all of my organs became sensitive because no doctor could tell me that this was what was going on. And because I was so malnourished I could not handle the mercury in the silver fillings. So, as Yolanda pointed out it was her breast implants AND dental issues that she had to take care of that allowed her body to finally heal. For myself, it was repopulating my gut with loads of probiotics for a few years, but I saw the most dramatic shift in my health after I got the silver fillings removed. Did any doctor give me the advice to take care of these issues that were plaguing my health? Nope. As the above commenter wrote, when you are chronically sick you will do anything to get your life back, and so I did the research that made me understand that antibiotics can cause major health problems, and after a year of being on loads of probiotics I was told by a blogger that I would never improve without getting out my silver fillings. I did the research. I decided to get them out. And I am so very thankful for the helpful advice that helped me to improve. So, nowadays I no longer have to worry about allergic reactions, and my organs are getting stronger.

DF married wife #5 in late June 2019. She's 35. Ladies, steer clear of a guy with multiple failed marriages, a history of infidelity and who's unable to work through normal marital conflicts. You won't change him but you will be branded a gold digger if he's rich, and a fool---if he's not.

My Heart goes out to Yolanda. Her friends disbelieved Her and Accused Her of suffering from Munch Owston Syndrome and David Foster (Her Husband, who She had on A Very High Pedastal) even left Her and all along this Lady who conducts Herself as such no matter what was really and truly suffering from Lyme Disease along with Her Son and Daughter. Always though, Yolanda has remained in control and apparently holds no I'll will towards anyone. That really takes A Special, Strong Lady to do that. I wish Her well and continued good health. Lastly, Yolanda looks Absolutely Amazing and As Always The Most Poised Lady from all the franchise. 🙏

I totally agree that just because someone has a doctorate degree, it doesn't mean they know your body. Too many medical doctors have failed me over the years. Of course, some of them have been great too, but it doesn't mean that 100% of doctors actually know the best treatment for their patients.

Ya think? ;) I guarantee Andy regrets it now because she basically dogged RHOBH the entire show. WTF? She thinks she's better than the entirety of BRAVO now that she used Andy/RHOBH to catapult her daughter(s) career. She now acts, greater-than-thou; as though she was never on such a low-class show & wants to forget she ever graced the air with its low-lifers. I love the questions Andy asked because he didn't give a crap about prying into her medical hocus-pocus. If she's so against everything RHOBH then hit the road and don't show up to stare at yourself in the camera. She loves her reflection.
