I really love Yolanda. I had graves disease now I have hashimotos soo I feel like I can relate to the fight, the helplessness and the fact that other people dont understand or believe you. Its like having a broken arm but no one can see it or believes you.

Graves AND Hashimotos are the chronic result of untreated "lyme" aka a Borrelia infection. This is the exact problem with the world and lyme. nobody thinks they have it but they can "relate". Nobody is relating, your all sick.

Avril Lavigne suffered a lot, she could not get out of bed, she was desperate and the doctors only told her that she was tired. Shania Twain began to lose her voice, everyone said that it was because of fatigue, anguish, for not to cry and express her pains. 14 years later a doctor discovered that her vocal nerves are semi-paralyzed and was caused by Lyme disease. She can`t sing like she used to and at times you can hear that she talks and her voice disappear. Not even famous people are properly diagnosed. It is a deceptive disease, which simulates others, but I can see that doctors are losing the point frequently and this desease doesn`t get the attention that it should.

My mom is suffering from a disease called Trigeminal neuralgia and is in remission right now but it’s chronic pain in her face and I can relate to this so much because my mom has wanted to die from the pain and no one understood and I walked side by side with her in this journey and even though she’s okay right now there is always that fear if could come back. I’ve watched her suffer such a depression and lay on the bathroom floor screaming. I love you Yolanda thank you for speaking out about chronic illnesses and how people say they aren’t real and how healthcare should be affordable for all ♥️♥️😇🙏🏻 you are an angel

Yolanda seems a lovely lady & her family seem lovely also! I have suffered years with a chronic illness that's not visible & unless you know me you would often think I'm ok, but I never am. I try so hard to keep up & act normal & carry on but it's hard. My life is good but my health holds me back. It's the guilt I feel for not being able to do what I want for my family & very close friends. But because others cannot see they make you feel like you are lying & this is the worst, so I tend to shut myself away! X 🌹x

I’m in the same situation. I had a severe nerve compression injury and I was gaslighted by more than ten doctors. I’ve had the three surgeries I needed but neuritis is invisible. I don’t get the support I need either.

Chronic Lyme doesn't exist, but Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome does exist. At some point, antibiotics no longer help because the Lyme spirochetes are gone but the systemic disrepair they have caused along with the body's immune response has damaged the joints and organs to the extent that they can no longer be repaired by the body alone. Sometimes, the body has an autoimmune response to Lyme that never shuts off and the immune system continues damaging the body's tissues. This is an unfortunate reality for many people, and currently, doctors are only focused on symptom management. Lyme disease is becoming increasingly common, and hopefully advances will be made sooner rather than later for the sake of the quality of life of millions of people.

She was married to her children's father and his last name was Hadid. Then she married the composer David Foster. Her birth name is Yolanda Johanna Jacoba van den Herik. I don't know why she goes by her first married name instead of her last. Maybe it's because she had kids with Hadid.

Her husband left her and I dont blame him. It's one thing to say you're struggling, another to bring the kids into it and say they have it too....it was sketchy how she went about this whole thing. People felt torn because Yolanda is notorious for attention seeking behavior.....but to then be like, "dont believe me? My kids have it too."...and it's the one disease that no one can prove or disprove.
@Lovinglydanni
@Lovinglydanni 4 жыл бұрын
Please be quiet! She never did anything attention seeking on rhobh or at all to indicate she was faking. People didn’t feel torn, people just had no compassion because it was something they didn’t know about. Knowledge is power and lack of knowledge scares people like you who can’t help me prey of the sick because you’re ignorant to her disease. I hope you get help

Dr Rawls has a supplementation protocol for both fibromyalgia and Lyme disease because he had both. Apparently, the same spirochete drills through your body causing havoc. My 20 yr old daughter has struggled for 4 years with Lyme disease.

It doesn't matter how much money you have, if you're sick and all the money you have can't seem to help you get better it's tough. While she was going through the worst part of Lyme disease, her two kids were struggling with it and she went through a divorce and had to move somewhere else. On top of that, part of her support system started questioning whether she is actually sick or just faking it. It doesn't matter how much money you have, if you don't have good health or a good support system you hate your life and life gets hard. Sure, money makes it easier because you don't have to worry financially, but money comes and goes. The most important things in life are good health and a good support system, which at some point she didn't have, and money can't buy that. For all you know she may have struggled financially at some point during her treatment because she had to fly everywhere and pay for experimental treatments and up to 150 pills a day worth of medicine. Even if you have millions, sickness can make millions disappear really fast.

The father of the kids said they are not ill and have not been and David's Adult girls said if she was so ill why was she taping a show and out partying. Not saying if he has it or not,but she sure used being "deadly i'll" as a story line in a show and now a book....dont be played!
@VivienMaron
@VivienMaron 7 жыл бұрын
He was asked how the kids are doing and he said "fine." That doesn't mean anything in terms of their disease. When it comes to private matters, people that are well known like to keep things private. Heck, I keep my stuff private. As for the show, over time her appearance was limited and she was mostly filmed while being treated or in bed. There were few occasions where she participated in activities. When you're sick for a long time, and you have one or two decent days, you dress up and go out and live, because those are very rare and cherished days. People with diseases like Lyme and Lupus and LES look fine when you look at them. But in reality they are usually in a lot of pain, and it's not always easy to diagnose them with the disease. Even cancer patients look fine BEFORE they get their treatment. The treatment causes cancer patients to look sick, but the disease itself isn't all that visible. Whether it's true or not, she's shedding some light and bringing awareness about diseases that need more attention, education and research funding. When you talk to somebody that suffers from one of those diseases, you'll find out they greatly appreciate the attention she has brought onto the topic itself.
