Unless Iran's military capability is destroyed any ceasefire will just be used to regroup and rearm. And even if Iran is dealt with the former is still likely to occur, but without the means do do anywhere near as much harm.

Nothing to do with Iran. The Palestinians want their stolen land back and unless that is solved amicably some other group will pop-up who is even more determined than the last. Not rocket science :D

This is what people don't understand when they call for ceasefires. It allows the beaten side a chance(however slim) to reform and regroup. For all the carnage, Israel cannot stop until Hamas, Hezbollah and to some extent Iran are long term left crippled.
