It does, definitely, in his mind and that's where it really matters. Ain't necessary to be physically in the ring with him but yeah, I agree on that hope and I agree with the guys in the comments saying Darby Allin is today the only thing that can keep whoever truly love Pro Wrestling Entertainment still invested in AEW, together with the only few real goats candidates which already made history in that business. Darby Allin has already climbed up to the top of the Everest to me, and he wasn't alone. Now he is alone, on the very top pf Everest, he just needs to kick everybody else's ass off the mountain, whoever tries to climb to that peak and pull him down. Whatever the outcome, that kid {I'm 50 so it's just as he's a kid to me, agewise} is already a self-made legend once in a making. What a dream come true for that kid, for that young man, Darby Allin!

Very very few people die on it now, if you have the money and the time to train then you will get up it. With oxygen and how established the route is, it is more a hike then anything like a mountain climb. 6-800 people do it a year nowadays.

I've never seen 3 guys back off so quickly, when they could've easily overpowered Darby Allin, and beaten him mercilessly! I'm glad that they didn't do that...but that they turned around, and skulked back to the locker room, with their tails between their legs! I wonder if Darby has mountaineering experience. Lots of climbers first start by climbing less taller peaks for conditioning and acclimatization before tackling Everest.

Only 1 person climbed everest sucessfully and it was in 1953 his name is Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, every other person that has tried, has died, last year in may more than 30 or 40 people died trying, mostly by falling or being eaten by a avalance or cerebral damage or hypothermia, he is trying to break a record that only 1 guy did and all the many that tried died, this might be the last time we see him in a ring..

The f*cked up thing about climbing Everest is that going up is only half of the work, coming down is just as dangerous.There is a reason why a lot of climbers disappear and die during the descent from the summit.
