Sounds like you’ve experienced mortgages pre-08…we own our house out right yet cannot even get a (1st lien) HELOC. Just remember everybody else is going thru the same, prices are going down for sure

@@613kc most likely. Demand is at a record low, interest rates climbing. Only reason prices haven’t talked already is bc supply is also at record low bc people don’t want to sell bc they don’t want to buy another bc the mortgage rates are climbing. Housing will be more volatile, material and labor will drop but not as much (after all Sawmills can just not produce as much lumber and labor can go find another industry… but when grandma dies we need to get that house sold no matter what)
