I believe the comment it was said in the past tense , meaning Camille's parents may be dead! She always showed an absurd dependence on him, this could be caused by her not having anyone else!

What's wild is that he relished his wife's upset at his care and attention to Camille. Only once he realized she was no longer upset was he shocked and came to his senses. He wanted her only once he realized he had lost her.

I'm so confused. It seemed like he liked it when FL was jealous. The fact that he never checked up on her while she was in the hospital, as a doctor, is crazy. He could have at the very least asked other doctors how she was doing???

I'm confused too. He started pursuing the FL early on so how he changed to this cold, indifferent, and cruel hubby always humiliating and degrading his wife is such a 180 change. It's like Jekyll and Hyde.

It's ego. He did want to make her suffer. He was waiting for her to falter from her indiferrent "act" as said in the story 'cause that's how he likes it. He likes torturing her, and definitely he likes being a chased ladies' man. Key points in the story: when she didn't care anymore about him bringing his lover in their house she repeated his pathetic overly used excuse it was fine since millie was a pregnant friend BUT HE KNEW IT WASN'T normal to care for a friend that much (it was the day he demanded to see her after her discharge from the hospital). So yeah, he deliberately wanted to cause her pain. He likes it that way, having a dellusional fantasy of being a wanted man 😂

I don't know what she did early on to deserve that much venom and cold indifference but she turned the tables on him and Camille. He had his feet on two boats and the wife reminded him that one of them was the Titanic. We all know it was the elderly lady that was the anonymous person who ratted him out on his inappropriate care for Camille. I'm.sure the ward doctor who took care of the FL in the hospital and saw that scene in Camille's room was happy to testify too. That's what these cheaters get. Karma is not nice.

He did, he was rushing because the skank was saying she was in "pain", & his dumbass lost control of the car. But he had the audacity to tell his wife that SHE hurt herself, to stir up drama😑🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. HE killed his own child, & made his wife sterile & traumatized. I refuse to believe that a man this stupid & shameless would actually exist. Specially because he a freaking doctor, so he's not mentally challenged. His sadism & the pleasure he got from hurting her & watching her stay, was what clouded his brain. He made up ridiculous things & accused her of ludicrous actions, to compensate for his own guilt.
