As soon as I saw who the actors are in this drama, I knew it was a winner and it didn't let me down one minute. Love her big brother. He is one of my fave drama actors. Great story with great acting. Has a bit of everything in it. Tells you that you can survive the downfalls in life and come up a winner.

離了婚男主在後面講前妻很不留情面，餓死街頭，所以劇情的敗筆就是到最女主角還原諒，這個不負責任的前夫，2年不回家不見面再怎麼不喜歡也不要這麼不尊重人，把女人當什麼沒神經沒尊嚴等著一個垃圾男，演這種讓人感覺很討厭。

This male lead is way too arrogant. He was horrible to her when she married him, prejudiced and neglectful. Then he only seems to pursue her because she doesn’t like him. And when he finds out her true identity, he basically says “it doesn’t matter if we are divorced, if I want her she will be mine” 1:57:19 He deserves to not think he can get her. He is arrogant and overconfident. He doesn’t express remorse about treating her poorly, he just is excited to force her to be with him (despite knowing that she hates him). Arrogance and remorselessness should not be rewarded with a superficial happy ending. The female lead deserves better than such a superficial, prejudiced, arrogant man who only seems to pursue her because she is out of his reach. He does not think about what she wants or needs. Just his own selfish desires. What exactly does he bring to the table as a potential husband?

Конечно в любви нет логики. Но! Главная героиня всемирно известный хирург. Хирурги люди логичные и рациональные, в чем то жёсткие. Почему сценаристы отказывают главной героине даже в банальной логике? Поэтому считаю ,что финал недоставерен и не логичен.А актеры сыграли хорошо, им респект ❤

Personally, I wanted the FL with one of the guys she thought of as "brothers" even if they are not bio related. The hubby, although not technically cruel or abusive, never even tried to know her or at least investigate her when they were married. That is neglect and abandonment. He didn't even recognize her. I would have been disgusted. He only wanted to compensate her to save face, not really, because he worried about her starving. He just didn't want the public to know that she was starving. His priorities were messed up. His gramps had a kinder, nobler heart than him. I would have just left him in the dust. That should have served as a warning to him for the next bit of fluff he encountered.

@@electricbounce His arrogance and flippant attitude about her during the marriage/divorce really annoyed me and the arrogance and mean attitude with her when he was chasing her turned me off. He just listened to the side chick. Even his assistant had more common sense and brains. I'd hate to be the assistants in these dramas. They are over worked, disrespected, and have more common sense and never quite heard. That would get on my nerves.

Yep. Arrogant and judgmental-he decided she was not worthy of him and never bothered to meet her much less treat her well. Worse, he never showed he actually loved her as a person. He was just infatuated with her reputation and offended she didn’t like him because he was so sure of himself in terms of being handsome and wealthy. Maybe they cut off the ending in order to allow us to choose how WE want it to end!?

All the guys are very handsome. If I were her, I wouldn't know how to go with. As for characteristics of them three, the older brother with glasses and suit fits her best, but she already love the ML, so its a no-go. As for the FL, she needs to be a little bit stronger and turn down the ML at every turn. She should stick to her guts and really really make him regrets. Btw who are these cuties actors?

Yo he visto este corto con otros actores, aunque el final es el mismo, aquí no hay sadismo como en otras, aquí hay frialdad, desplantes, sin empatia y eso no deja de ser un maltrato psicológico. Personalmente el "hermano" de las gafas habría sido una opción buenísima, a este que lo cuide la novia de la infancia. El abuelo es el mejor, es entrañable, y la quiere de ❤. Todos los actores y actrices son muy buenos porque te hacen sentir ira, rabia, emoción, pena, la trama está bien, los actores aquí son muy guapos, pero no habría elegido jamás volver con el, tenía mejores opciones. These stories just reinforce a very superficial idea of love. These male leads are “in love” with the idea of a woman not the actual woman herself. The fact that he can “discover he loves her once he finds out her identity” shows he does not actually love HER.

The other sad sad thing is that the female lead, who is supposed to be a world renowned neurosurgeon, “retired” from being a surgeon to marry this idiot male lead. She stopped living her own life for this useless excuse for a husband. Why? What benefit did she get? And for 2 whole years?! What kind of message does this say to women: devalue yourself, accept a negligent non-existent marriage to a man who won’t give you the time of day, let your surgical skills go to waste (think of all the people who’s lives she could have saved in 2 years!)? 🙄

I was disappointed in the ending. I guess we can pick who we want. The FL almost always goes back to the ML. I prefer the brother, although it doesn’t seem like because she had no romantic feelings for him, there wasn’t much interaction with the other guy. They tried to make the ML noble, because he was upholding a promise. A promise doesn’t mean treating other people like 💩.

This one is an old reload. Since it is given to the viewer to assume whom she would have chosen in the end, from my perspective it should be neither of the three. Reason: Had the ex-husband sent the 2nd FL to prison, for kidnapping and attempted murder of his ex-wife, he would have got the edge over the other two and won her heart. But he felt the 2nd FL to be more important than his ex-wife, to be penalised for a criminal offence. So he should never get a second chance. As for her Gēgē, with whom she grew up from her childhood, she just saw him as a brother so she won't have the mindset to be romantic and would feel extremely uncomfortable to be intimate with him. As for the playboy, he doesn't look serious and doesn't have the maturity to fulfil her emotional needs as a beau in the long run. This relationship will definitely fizzle out as he would loose interest in her. Right now he is seeing her as a shiny object, once obtained will loose its charm. PS: This is the second version of the same storyline and script I have viewed on the KZbin.

The 2nd FL was important to him, because of a promise he had made to her late brother before he got married. When you promise to take care of somebody's sister, you don't send her to jail but rather find a way to everyone's benefit. He sent her abroad to study and indicated that she was not allowed to return.I think this is a wise decision.

For those complaining about the lack of a proper ending, you must not have any experience with Chinese dramas. This is very common and should be expected on a fairly regular basis. So if you’re going to watch, don’t have any expectations of a satisfying ending. That way if you get a good ending, it will be a happy surprise.

No matter how magical, brilliant, gifted or beautiful, the writers always disparage the FL until she is truly as dumb as they say she is! Although she is suppose to be this gifted surgeon, her self-esteem is tied to this cold goose of a man, which means her self-worth depends on what he thinks of her. I call bullshit! I truly dislike these drama where the FL starts out strong and ends under the shoe of the ML...always!

I'm convinced that there is some cultural imperative for the woman, no matter how "magical, brilliant, gifted or beautiful", to be made to be less than the man. I've seen shows where the couple is well matched, [just finished a really good one] but most of the time the writers either buy into the traditional narrative or take the lazy way out. A woman who could literally pull any guy would not stick with the crap, even IF she is genuinely in love with him, just out of self-respect. I wonder how many genuinely capable women in Chinese society today are still accepting this standard.

Wtf... No proper ending at all... Is she alive or dead?? Are those 3 guys she saw again for real or just her imagination?? 🤔 What a lame unfinished ending of the story. As for the other girl, she's toxic. She should be thrown into jail and locked up forever. No parole... Life sentence. Not just merely sent abroad for what she did to the main FL. Horrible... Stupid ML...

I choose the Ex husband... because he got to know the FL in a fresher way.... no influence fron other people. He loved her in the natural process. :-)

Hahaha... She's definitely thinking about her ex-husband and secretly hoping he'll find her. Notice the order of appearance at the end of this drama ... Mr. Zhou, older brother and last but not least Mister Handsome. First drama I've watched with an open ending that I also enjoyed. However, I prefer dramas with happy endings and definitely no guesswork!
