Great job Mr. Cris! Nice you picked up the grass clippings and carried branches to the curb for city pick up. I’m sure the City Inspector didn’t know the owner was dead but just following up on a resident’s complaint. Unfortunately, after spending 4 hours on the front, I’m sure the neighbor will complain about the back yard. So, the deceased homeowner will be charged for the fine. The fine will be added to the deceased’s property tax bill. It’s sad if the owner had no relatives but if he did, the heirs/owners will have to pay the property taxes (which will include the fine).
