Hi guys! Just so you know, the tv show that Mariben likes “Young Sheldon” is about the childhood of the genius character named Sheldon in the “Big Bang Theory” comedy tv show. See if the Big Bang Theory is shown there and you’ll understand. Please come back soon Mariben! 😢

t's not just Ilocano people who eat squash leaves; they are also a common food in many regions of Luzon, where the flowers are also eaten. The best-known recipe for this is pinakbet .Another option is the bulanglang recipe, which includes okra and eggplant; string beans, saluyot and squash. For cooking instructions, refer to Google. Each regions in the Philippines has unique cooking methods and Pampanga is the best known for cuisine.

Sweet potato leaves are also used as a vegetable, separate to the sweet potato tubers. The leaves can be boiled or used in stir fries, with a range of colourful vegetables and thinly sliced strips of beef, to make a tasty meal. I am glad to see that you found that you could use something you have grown in your own yard. That is brilliant! Growing your own food is a great money saver, and so convenient. Oh, that food that was made (after you went out with Mariben to do all those things) with all those beautiful vegetables looked so healthful and tasty! Wow! That will definitely help Dennis to feel like he can keep going on this diet as long as he doesn't have the noodles. Ooh, you made those genius lettuce wraps for Dennis again 😀 That must have made him smile! I have to say, I'm sick right now (yes, it's going around), but when I am well, I am going to try to make some of those wraps too. 😀

Next time use "Powdered Sulfur" mixed with water and a couple of drops of dish detergent to spray on the leafs of the squash to get rid of the infection on the leaves to keep the plant from dying from losing all the leafs. My wife is Iloco and they eat the leafs, and flowers of the squash and the squash too.

Southeast Asia people (Laos) often consume young squash and pea vines and flowers. I'm a native born Anglo and eat it frequently with them here in Wisconsin. People are people!!

Hi guys!! My goodness, Ming was early today to ask for food. Squash tips? If I know anything, I know this as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow. If Mariben cooked it, it was going to be good! Have a great rest of the day and see you all tomorrow!!

Yes, it’s all about the food eh? That doesn’t look like any squash I’ve ever seen but greens are so good for us. MY friend’s mother used to say to me, “ you have to eat your greens everyday.” I ate salad every day just to appease her! That looked like stir fry that Mariben was cooking, another great idea for Dennis. Mariben, I like Young Sheldon too. My goodness that karaoke of the neighbour’s should be called cryeeokee. They should take some lessons from Raoul. Sorry for the spelling. Dennis looking very handsome. Hope you both get outside and do your chika chika together. Sorry that you have to put up with the dog. It’s -27c degrees here today with the wind chill, only -14 without. Had to go to a Dr’s appt. today. Yes, took me three buses and 2 hrs. one way! Unbelievable. That’s the way it is here today in Ottawa. Wish I was there! Thanks for showing your plants. Still, life is good. Sending you 🥰 hugs. Ellie
