After years of loyalty, she was abandoned & left to face her last days, sick & completely shattered

Do you ever know what desperation is? What is laying to death desperately?
Sick, abandoned, fired, stoned, and violent in the streets. The sad expression on her face says it all, her desperation, as if she had given up on everything and accepted whatever would happen to her.
I saw her under the sun, taking shelter in the shade of a small tree on the edge of angry sand. Couldn't resist, couldn't turn back. Her looks were so sad and helpless.
Instead of finding peace and respect in her final years this poor soul faces neglect and cruelty, stripped of her dignity in the shadow of indifference. She was rewarded for her years of service and loyalty by throwing her in a dirty place leaving her to spend the rest of her life among the garbage...
