OMG. I play 2nd violin for my high school. We have to play this, Dragon Dances, Gauntlet, Bringer of Joy (based off Jupiter from The Planets), and Carol of The Bells. All in one night in December too. Lol.

I'm playing this song as a 6th grade violinist. Me and the other 6th grader with it have to play the 2nd violin part, but in all honestly, the only challenging part is the speed, some of the bowings, and lastly, the dang E flat with the B flat, like, how the heck do you do that? Because I don't see a part that says div. at the top of that measure but whatever. Still sounds cool for my 4th or so time playing it. Edit: Also I think I'm playing it a little TOO fast. My violin teacher never actually specified the exact speed, just super fast. XD

I know!! Our whole grade only has 7 violas! Our class period only had 4 of them though and 8 or 9 violins so when we practiced it was not balanced much lol. And all together we have about 20 violin, 7 viola, 15 cello, and 3 bass. We’re pretty small. :)
